Reebok payouts for UFC 195!! :|

Normal jobs often give u a laundry allowance.

OH WAIT UFC TAKES BACK YOUR UNIFORM AND SELLS IT UNWASHED ONLINE TO PERVERTS!

Fucken cheap cunts.

Often? I don't believe so. I never got one when I had to wear a uniform. Cops and other professionals, yes, but the hoi polloi, no. And a cage fighter is more like the burger flipper than the policeman of the sports world.

In my country you can claim it at tax time (work wear/office clothes) under a certain amount without having to provide proof if you get an allowance or not. Not much BUT BETTER THAN BILLIONAIRES SELLING YOUR DIRTY SHORTS ONLINE FOR $500!!

Pretty sad situation for the fighters. They are taking a big hit on sponserships, some of the top guys used to make huge money now they get next to nothing.
I know this situation has been brought up countless times but the conversation should keep going.
For these guys they are being forced to accept a shitty situation which they have no recourse for correcting. They have a employer who is getting all the benefits while they get a few scarps of leftovers.
Hopefully some top fighters will defect to other organizations and speak out.
This Reebok situation needs to be fixed, the percentage they get is laughable.

I have linked real evidence, you have nothing besides your opinion.

This is factually wrong. Top 5 is a big accomplishment.

Apparently you didn't even read the break down that I gave you of what fighters pay from their purse or you just completely ignore evidence because you don't want to believe it. He wouldn't pocket close to 100k.

I don't care who you claim to be or what you have claim to have done. What you are saying in relation to what that guy said in this thread is total nonsense. Education is education whether it is formal or not. "paying next to nothing" is a complete joke. Again you completely ignore the facts that I linked to you. UFC fighters do NOT pay next to nothing. You are straight up lying.

Are you a UFC fighter? Oh wait you are not so what you wrote their means absolutely nothing. You completely ignore the many costs a UFC fighter has that you never did.

Oh until you start adding in what I have been saying this entire time? What a shocker. Most fighters do what now? Link evidence or you are full of shit.

You apparently lack the ability to read and must also be a UFC shill. I have proven that guy wrong and you as well by default. No point in continuing, goodbye.

1) You linked three instances related to fight camp-cost; I shared my own story and those of the people I know (amateur and pro-fighters). Both of us only have anecdotal evidence. If you see otherwise, you are confused;

2) He would pocket that much if he won a bonus award. And the more he fights, the more Reebok will pay him. He is paid well for a guy with zero big wins and a non-recognizable name. He is participating in a career that pays almost exclusively for those two things. Do you ignore this as well?;

3) Education is not "education". You are naive. Maybe you are just a child with no experience to pull from. That is my only conclusion at this point;

4) I am not ignoring the costs facing UFC fighters. Like I said, guys can train out of the best gyms in the world and experience low costs. The costs you shared are costs the fighter put on himself, in all cases. They hired managers, they flew people in, this and that. They didn't have to do any of those things. It is entirely their problem if they can't manage their funds;

5) Do you deny that most fighters will tend to train at local gyms for the majority of their careers? Have you ever attended a gym, taught a class, or anything similar to those things? This is patently true from what we know of human behavioral patterns as they relate to migrating and the like (once again, your lack of knowledge shines through). So poor people tend to move away from their homes and further risk their health and well-being? Come on......this violates nearly everything we know about humans;

6) You haven't proven anything. You are following the narrative that education is education, no matter what (an obviously silly notion), and that fighters often pay the majority of their winnings to coaches and their camp (another false statement I know is false from direct experience).

Bellator doesn't make anything close to $600 million in revenue or they would.

And they have gotten at least one top 10 fighter in the world despite this as a direct result of the deal, Josh Thomson. And possibly more to follow. UFC still has most under contract from before the deal was signed.

Viacom will do the same thing zuffa doing if Bellator is big as UFC. Dont kid yourself.

I put more money into my 401k over the past 3 months.

Percentage of what, the two shirts they sold? I bet the payouts far exceed Reebok revenue. This is a lose lose.

So you think sponsorship alone ought to leave fighters "set" for the year?
not exactly set, but a lot of fighters were making more off sponsors than fighting. many individual sports (Golf and tennis) is the same and yes even for lower level athletes
