Reebok deal compared to A level athlete deal

Now do the math vs all ufc fighters compared to one basketball player like the deals are

Many nba games are on free tv.

And the playoffs are watched by wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more people than any UFC.

Games on ESPN get over 8 million viewers during the week. It takes 4 UFC on FOX to reach that many people.....or 7-10 UFNs on FS1 to reach that same audience.

1 nba player gets wayyy more exposure than the whole UFC.....and the dollars tell you that.

Well, that's only partially accurate. One NBA athlete is not on national tv every game he plays. The local network might carry every game but, nationally, they show 2-4 games/week and they alternate the teams.

So while an NBA athlete is on tv more than a single MMA fighter, he's not on TV more than all of the UFC fighters combined.

And that's why the Reebok deal drives home how far from the big boys that MMA is. The UFC sold advertising for it's entire roster for less money than Adidas offered a single NBA athlete and Reebok isn't even receiving significantly less exposure.

Niche sports get nothing like the money mainstream sports get.
