I have heard women I work with espouse every internet meme. In her own words one said she left her guy for being boring to go have her hoe phase, again her words. Then she went back to him when she was done and the sad sack took her back. Another one 35, overweight, 2 baby daddies, thinks she’s a ten and won’t settle for less. You’re a four at best with colossal baggage.

I think it got worse because people want shortcuts. Realistically everyone already knew that if you work hard, eat healthy, keep you mental health in check and exercise then that's the way ahead.

I'm the same and I look at those in the dating game these days and wonder how they do it. A workmate is in "the game" and she struggles, she's probably a 6.5 and is chasing 9s i reckon.

I think a problem is that a "hot guy" will hook up with them but not commit, and they can be under the impression that these "hot" guys are their standard for a relationship which is not correct.

Most guys I know who go on the dating apps fuck around for 6 months or so and then find a partner, i don't know if it's as easy for a woman to find a partner on them.
