Neither am II’m not talking about getting a worker bee role at Boeing.

Capitalism. Boeing can charge what ever they want so long as the buyer is willing to pay it. The question should be who in the military approved that invoice?
i'd love to know what socialist world you think a company like boeing would exist in lolLol, the "buyer" is the government with public money, and somehow your takeaway is that the problem is "capitalism", and we'd be better off under socialism and shifting most of the economy to the people who just got ripped off paying the 8,000% mark up?
"Capitalism" is the basis for the 8,000% mark up, without which there would be no basis to claim any mark up at all, that would just be the price.
Uh, North Korea spends like 37% of their gdp on military, China spends like $470 billion, USSR was like 14% of gdp, the US is at like 3.5%, and we're covering all of western and Central Europe. Did you think military weapons grow on trees in socialist countries?i'd love to know what socialist world you think a company like boeing would exist in lol
it's not the need for weapons. it's the fact that there's a private corporation with the freedom to charge whatever they want that the military is desperately dependent on. how would that exist under a socialist economy?Uh, North Korea spends like 37% of their gdp on military, China spends like $470 billion, USSR was like 14% of gdp, the US is at like 3.5%, and we're covering all of western and Central Europe. I think I made it clear the problem is the military agreeing to the price. Capitalism states the seller can charge what ever they want, it’s up to the buyers to decide if the price is too high.Lol, the "buyer" is the government with public money, and somehow your takeaway is that the problem is "capitalism", and we'd be better off under socialism and shifting most of the economy to the people who just got ripped off paying the 8,000% mark up?

Funny how often those 3 things are found in bed togetherThis isn't capitalism... It's Government corruption and incompetence
lol
so it sounds like you don't even care about the economic structure. you think politicians are just corrupt. i'd agree.Under a socialist economy these would be government owned businesses so that the government employees can steal directly from them instead of having to go through extra steps.
Even more efficient corruption yay.

Private contractors ripping off government retards. You don’t say!
That’s a distinct possibility. Corruption or utter incompetence. Not sure which is more of a concern! This is all backhanders. I guarantee the government worker who signed this off knew exactly what they were doing.
