Don't think it's been said yet but Alexis Nicolas (and some other fighters) has been released by One.
He's transitioning to MMA

Would be interesting. He has been working for a very long time (from his savate days) with Nicolas Ott, coach of Imavov, BSD, Gomis, Baki Chamsoudinov. So he would be in the best hands for his transition. He's transitioning to MMA
Really a smart move to release Sittichai. They don’t even have a kickboxer to replace Tawanchai and need to call Shadow who risk his number one contender status and just fought this month for a pointless kickboxing fight.Thinks Shadow is in for the injured Tawanchai.
Saemapetch is just looking for pay checks at this point, he's on 3 TKO losses and soon to be 4.not much at all to get excited about
- Saemapetch Fairtex vs. Elbrus Osmanov (Muay Thai – bantamweight)
- Saksri Superlek Muaythai vs. Logan Chan (Muay Thai – 138 pounds)
- Petninmungkorn NamkangIceland vs. Petnaya NhongBangsai (Muay Thai – atomweight)
- Kritpet PK Saenchai vs. Mehrdad Khanzadeh (Muay Thai – strawweight)
- Anon Taladkondernmuangpon vs. Gianny De Leu (Muay Thai – 118 pounds)
- Ikkyusan Sor Salacheep vs. Kampanthong Chor Hapayak (Muay Thai – 113 pounds)
- Kongchai Chanaidonmueang vs. Walter Goncalves (Muay Thai – strawweight)
- Guyasit Singha Mawynn vs. Dzhamil Osmanov (Muay Thai – bantamweight)
- Liu Yuer vs. Nefise Delikurt (Muay Thai – atomweight)
- Rayan Mekki vs. Muga (Muay Thai – 140 pounds)
- Kyung Joong Kim vs. Su Sung Cho Gotoh (MMA – 139 pounds)
- Juliana Otalora vs. Kim Tran (MMA – atomweight)
Saemapetch being sacrificed to give Osmanov a name win
Petnimungkorn - Petnaya looks like the best match of the night to me.
good to see Kongchai is back but Goncalves (how did he ever get a contract?) will make for a crappy style match
a total 'meh' card where the hopes for excitement will be resting on the unknowns

I liked the debut of Osmanov's kid brother. His style is much nicer than his older brother's.
Jesus i find its hard to watch One these days. Todays card nearly every Thai fighter had a size dis-advantage, nearly every second foreign fighter looked juiced and loads of dudes were doing full on double legs and the thai ref says nothing. With the double legs I think its cause the ref can't speak english and don't want to lose 'face'. Also very inconsistent with giving counts for getting dropped.
Sa
Muscle is 75% water and fat is approx 10 to 20% water. So they can cut way more water weight to make weight. Dudes that are juicing can be healthy with much lower body fat %. Also the roids they take help cut fat and retain muscle. So by cheating they get a double advantage. Much bigger and the benefits of steroids.yeah agreed I have tended to self-censor (without really realising it) and look out for the Thai vs Thai matchups much more nowadays. On occasion the size mismatches have worked against the (weight-drained) farang, Soner Sen barely being able to throw a strike at the weight last time out being one.
I feel as though at least some of the size mismatches are related to the lack of Thais at the heavier weights. Poor old Tuengnueng is literally dwarfed every time he sets foot in the ring with is little spare tyre round the middle showing how little struggle he has in getting to the weight, last time out he was getting to the huge Dagestani nonetheless before getting sparked. Like 'curly ninja' last night if the very-big-at-the-weight guys have to fight at the pace you can see them flagging pretty quickly. But then when they land their best shots its the impact of a dude basically a stone heavier (or more) landing.
I have found not just the reffing but the scoring to be much less reliable lately; I thought Kongchai got an absolute gift decision last night (not a size mismatch ironically)
ha, you probably know more than I do as I thought the exact opposite mate (Re: Sen and Walter juicing)!I actually think Soner is natural which is why he gets the negative effects of cutting too much. (Low testosterone, low energy)
I was happy Walter lost against Kongchai. He fights out of phuket fight club and looks suspicious. But I did think Kongchai just shaded it. Maybe that is me being bias though.
Soner could very well be juicing. Id have to go back and have a look again.ha, you probably know more than I do as I thought the exact opposite mate (Re: Sen and Walter juicing)!
Sen, viewed side-on, biiiiiiiiiiiiigggg roid-gut man, he's a (very) low bodyfat dude with a big protruding gut which is suss to me. can't recall what his traps look like to be fair but his overall look is of a very blocky-heavy upper body, more so than his lower body which again I take as suss.
Teuneung needs to lose some weight he is straight up fat.
oh hell yeah thats one you don't need to be an expert. But i guess One literally make him fight at the higher weight as he's basically one of the only Thais up there? he could drop 10lbs easy as anything
