MT/KB China Recent fights/results/news from China

Couldn't find video but Karate COmbat basically held a Chinese kickboxing bout in their recent event Schilling vs Rockhold.

Ali Zanrifar (Kunlun champion) vs Huang SHuailu (WLF's favorite 60 kg prospect). Ali knocked him out in round 1, 2 knockdowns plus ground and pound TKO. Prospect bust hehe

Yodwicha is dropping to 147? Not sure its a good idea but I'll watch.

7 days to cut and fight again is insane.
These Thai fighters have no chill.

I think 147 is his best weight. You know he has to train hard and be disciplined to fight at that weight.
When he was fighting at higher weights 154 and up to 160 i believe. He sometimes looked bloated and kinda out of shape at those weights.

Yodwicha failed to make 147 last month and had his fight changed to 151 I believe so I dont know how he thinks he is going to make that cut every few weeks to last the tournament

Edit: he make 147 for the rws tournament opening round

Not sure if they are going to make whole 4 man tournament this saturday or just individual fights.

Not sure if Petchmorakot is exactly confirmed yet. At least based on what Kunlun said a couple days ago.

Also Minaei isn't really a random. He is an okay fighter and has fought plenty of known guys.

Kunlun will also be doing a bunch of events together with the IBA soon. Some weird Russia-China money being poured into those events. At least the boxing side of it will have a couple mil in tournament prize pool. The events will be in big cities at proper arenas. Hopefully Kunlun gets a bit of money to throw into the kickboxing fights too.

Zhao Chongyang and Marian Lăpușneanu qualified for the grand finals. Both upsets against Jin Ying and Vasilii Semenov respectively. Semenov knocked out just 15 seconds before the final bell, but he was actually losing the fight being caught in R2. And Jin Ying was knocked down twice. In addition, Zhao Chongyang KOed Daniel Puertas in R2 at the rematch!

bnew chinese kickboxing prospect named Y Yuxuan. This kid looks very smooth. Good boxing. Defense rought around the edges. Nice head movement for a kickboxer though.
