Real Boxing Gym - Las Vegas:

65/35, thats some real talk from a coach. If he insisted would you allow him to take the shot? Or if he had doubts would you let him wait? Find this one highly interesting.

Think fighters go in there with a lot less expectancy. When do you push? When do you make them sharpen more?

I dont know, I'd want more development to about 45/55. Or at least to study Tank enough that I felt I could make up the difference with strategy. Fighters should always be being pushed to sharpen in some way or another. Idealistically. But that's not pragmatic, especially nowadays.

Sal and Ian from today. This is at another gym where I like them to feel out of their element:

Here's Round 4:

Need 100 more subscribers to be able to participate in the YouTube Partners program. If you havent already it will be much appreciated. I plan to up the quality of the content fairly soon, I'll be getting a new camera and plan to give a more in-depth look at the development of my fighters from a behind-the-scenes approach:

Dont even try to act like you never wanted to see tag-team boxing:

@Sinister didn't know where to put this but two possibly dumb questions:
Do you tell a guy to try to hit a certain part of the face w/ certain punch (E.g. at the nose if it's the jab)? And where do most guys get ko'd ? Like a temple shot or behind the ear or right on the jaw etc.? I feel like behind the ear/temple shots get a lot of guys. Esp w/ a hook.

I do work on specific targeting with my fighters, but before that we work on hand-eye coordination. This helps them with precise targeting. I like to use a phrase from the terribly Historically inaccurate Mel Gibson film "The Patriot"...which us "aim small, miss small."

I'm not sure what ratio of KO's are, like where on the face they happen. But I will say if a punch rotates your neck, higher chance of KO. Closer to the back of the head and you get nearer to the brainstem

Aim small miss small is one of my favorite sayings! Thanks or the info sir.

Any time, and if anyone else has any questions we can field them here and I can either answer them or eventually answer them via video

Oh and I also say "swing big, miss big."

I'm going with Crawford. But that's out of what I feel is a 50/50.

Unfortunately I dont. But I'll try to ask around a bit.

@Sinister here's a fun question. have you ever trained any fighters that had weird or unique styles? for instance, like a Dmitri Pirog or Emmanuel Augustus. any fighter who's style stood out to you? you dont have to name names, obviously.

I have one like that now, he's forming a very unique and fun style. But here I'll show you one from a long time ago:

The one in the tank top is Raji, always been a weirdo.

thanks for the vid. are you into MMA at all? Raji's stance, jab and movement remind me a LOT of Sean Strickland. very herky-jerky and almost awkward but somehow still very technically sound.
cool stuff!

Yes I have taught MMA fighters, Raji did MMA for a while.

@Sinister what do you think of the shoulder roll /shell/crab style type of style? Floyd was my hero as a teenager and I would always try to keep my shoulder up and roll w/ a lot of punches. I got hit w/ way too many counter right hands tho when I was trying to jab.

Feinting helped a bit but overall do you like that style for a fighter or do you prefer a more classical approach? If I came in and said I need to have this style and I don't want to change, would you still train me?
