Re-book a PPV

Stone Cold was the most jacked up, it's amazing he even did what he did with the Rock that night.

Summerslam 2019

The Fiend makes his inring debut. The Fiend makes his entrance and Finn hits the Cu de Gras, wins by pinfall. The next night Bray Wyatt shows up to work and wrestles in normal trunks and does jobs until his contract runs out.

I like it!

It can be any show you thought should have been or would have been booked differently/better. I'll go first.

Wrestlemania 9

HBK vs Marty Jannety for IC belt (Marty wins, pop the crowd)

Steiners vs Money Inc for tag team titles (Steiners win the belts)

Taker vs Razor (Taker wins obviously but give him a new hot heel who can give him a decent match)

Yoko vs Hogan (Yoko cheats with the powder, squashes Hogan for the win, sets up a big summer feud)

Bret vs Macho for WWF title (Bret wins, they hug. Close the show).

The rest is whatever.

WrestleMania 10

-Remove the Bret-Yokozuna rematch idea and give Bret the title. Replace with a double co-main event:

Lex Luger/Yokozuna
Bret/Owen championship

Nah Owen beats Bret, then beats Yokozuna for the belt.

Great way to start Bret v Owen Rivalry where Owen Drops it to Bret

Why in a person's eyes was it so critically important that Bret & Yokozuna competed twice at X on the same night? I will never understand it.

Would have made more sense for Bret and Luger to fight in a #1 contenders bout since they both "won" the rumble.

Side note that was the first rumble I ever watched.

Personally I would have loved to see when Owen beat Bret, he beat Yoko either clean or not. They could have had Bret come out and help Owen win, or celebrate with him staying a Babyface or have Owen attack him keeping Owen as the heel.

I think Dana watched WM X because he uses the same playbook, your top guy loses and still gets a title shot.

Because both men earned a shot at the belt and I guess a triple threat wasn't an option (thank God) so if Bret got to face fresh after Yoko or Lex already battled it would be seen as unfair.

It worked out.

Bret vs Owen was $, Bret losing was brilliant, and Bret got his WM moment avatar avenging his shit loss at 9.

It didn't work out because it should have been Bret v Hulk which would have been huge in my eyes but Terry gonna Terry

I agree, but that shit was ruined well before the Rumble.

Still gets me whenever I hear Hogan say he had no problem with putting Bret over and it wasn't his idea but Vince's.

Hogan might be the reason why WWF became huge but he's also the reason it didn't continue to grow.

Don't get me started on how dirty he did Savage who was always 100x more enjoyable to watch in the ring

Hogan and Bret was planned for Summersla Summerslam until Hofan decided to leave and lose to Yokozuna.

Speaking of Savage. Most of his World title runs, he either lost the belt to Hogan or was involved in some way.

Overall I enjoyed the booking of WMX with the double Royal Rumble winners getting a title shot but it could have made more sense.

1). Why did Bret get a longer break between matches than Yokozuna who's the champion?
2). Why did Bret a get a match with a guy who, while we all know was great in retrospect, was hardly even a midcarder at that point whereas Lex and Yoko are both top 5 guys in the company?

We got Bret/Owen so it's hard to say I'd want to change anything but I think it would have made more sense to have Bret face Lex in the opening match to determine who faces Yoko in the main event. Yoko could barely go for one match let alone two.

But again we got a top 5 match from Bret against Owen so I wouldn't change it. Maybe just put Yoko/Lex on second and have Yoko absolutely job out Lex.

I never liked the Bret/Hogan idea, I just don't think they would have had the in ring chemistry nor do I think Bret had the baby face heat to take the shine off Hogan. It's Vince's fault for dropping to his knees for Hogan. He should have kept the belt on Bret and had someone like Savage help put him over and build Yoko as a monster heel for Bret to take on.

As much as I love Bret and as revered as he is he far too often seemed to be Vince's second option despite being the workhorse company man, much like Savage.

Always thought Bret Hart and Randy Savage had sportsmanship and a special willingness to put others before themselves. Both would be in my top 4 GOAT. Taking into consideration Savage's age the Slamboree match turned out pretty decent, too.

Absolutely. One of my favorite moments in wrestling was I believe the 1989 Survivor Series. Savage is obviously a top guy and Bret is still just tagging with Anvil but they square off in a Survivor Series match and Savage puts Bret over big like he's a legit star and threat. Ill never forget that.

I like a lot of this but would actually do a heel Yoko somehow involved with wiping out the heel Giant Gonzales either in a multi person match or just somewhere on the show, to establish him as a killer.

Then Bret over Hogan clean in the main event.

WM 8

Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan
Randy Savage vs. Jake Roberts in a Cage
Piper vs. Bret
Money Inc vs. Slaughter and Duggan
Undertaker vs. Sid Justice
Shawn Michaels vs. Owen Hart
20 Man Battle Royal

Sub Legion of Doom in against Money Inc and I'm sold.

Good luck with that second part. Bret's said during this time that Hogan looked him straight in the face and said you're not on my level and I'm not losing to you.

I think you can convince him to lose to Yoko because it's going to turn into a big payoff where he gets his win back whereas losing to Bret is more of a passing of the torch which Hogan wasn't going to do.
