RDA's Takedown defense

So we all knew in the Pettis fight that his offensive wrestling is legit
But since he's about to face a legit wrestler know I wonder how his TDD is right now, because apart from the Khabib fight, I don't recall lots of people trying to take him down.

I believe this can result in a Alvarez LnP. Any thoughts?

Dos Anjos's TDD is pretty good, jason high got him down a few times but high is a big guy, khabib struggled to get him down.

It's not about him being a LnP fighter, but he'll gladly fight in a boring fight if that's is a easier path to victory.

The only struggle was from RDA back while getting slammed lol. You never watch that fight clearly lol. Khabib dominated RDA from bell to bell lol.

I don't really put a lot of stock in the beatings he gave a bunch of no top 25 level guys outside the UFC. Anyone in the top 15 would be exciting and KO guys who wouldn't even be top 25-50.

what would you classify as struggling? Because you act like he took him down 3 times and that was the end of the fight, yet he shot 12 times and completed half of them. Khabib is amazing and great because his shortcomings don't deter him from implementing his gameplan. He fails a shot, that's fine, he shoots again. Acting like he took Dos Anjos down at will is dumb and wrong.

i know he had that toss, how could I miss it? You posted 4 gifs and 3 of them were that toss. Great gif, but acting like he did that the entire fight without an issue isn't accurate

Struggling would be him having a hard time getting him down lol. Everytime he grabbed RDA he toss him like a child lol. If you call this struggling you need ether a new brain or eyes lol.

Fade is debatable, Dos Anjos has always had really good cardio. When people would come on aggressively after he won the first two rounds, he did have a tendency to coast, but, from what i can tell, he doesn't do that anymore since joining Kings.

Dos Anjos hasn't been taken down since joining Kings, While i don't think it's impossible to take him down, he stopped guys like Ben Henderson's attempts HARD. He brick walled a pretty solid wrestler's attempts.

LW is one of those divisions that would blow people's minds if you told them that there were more top 10 guys outside of the UFC than inside it for a while, and not that long ago. BJ Penn had beaten Sean Sherk and was still only ranked number 3 in the world by sherdog, underneath Gomi and JZ. For some reason, Gomi didn't lose and Shinya Aoki, another top 10 guy, beat JZ but Penn went up to number 1, but that's lost to time.

LW is a division where the best fighters in it probably aren't the ones who were great in the UFC. I have one UFC Champion in my top 5 all time for the division.
