Among the active fighters (close to Gomi), RDA is my favorito fighter. He got caught by a great opponent (also a fan of Alvarez), but is gonna come back.

RDA got caught, but would never turn into a "panic wrestler" like McGregor or go into fetal position like Lesnar. He tried to recover, to fight Eddie back. So haters, just recognize a true well-rounded MMA fighter.

WAR RDA!!!

Your right about him not turning into a bitch, he has heart for sure!

he took a lot of punishment, just because of his heart!
I was sad (he lost) but impressed.

Great Job, Alvarez. And I hope RDA comes back soon!

I'm not sure: Is "turning into a bitch" a term for "fighting intelligently?"

Yeah - that was a really perfectly placed punch.

I was rooting for and vocal in my opinion that Rafa would most likely buzz through Eddie - I was however worried about the early parts of the fight.

And screw anyone who thinks that was an early stoppage. Rafael was taking hard shots and not defending himself.

No panic wrestling on his part.

RDA seems to be pretty tough mentally. I'm bummed by the defeat, but Alvarez is a tough man too. Interested in seeing how RDA will deal with the setback, as he had some big plans for his career. I'm still siding with him, of course.

Conor never back pedaled for his life as fast as he could all over the ring

Both got beat. Shit happens

RDA must regret not banking the Conor fight now, should of toughed it out because he'd have a better lifestyle for him and his family at this point if he did.

I am glad to see rda gone. Im sick of seeing that block head with a belt

Alvarez is a cool dude but I was expecting Dos Anjos to get round after round the upper hand.

Great shot by Alvarez and great killer instinct .

The sad thing is that RDA was never really part of the UFC hype machine and didn't get the recognition he deserves in my opinion. UFC 200 was overshadowing the buildup the whole time. That being said WAR RDA!

lol right?! And "Panic Wrestling" too. Conor said it to shame opponents to keep the fight standing, but it's just dumb to NOT try to grapple when you are rocked.

Just the fact you had to say that gives me bad vibes. I mean, do you usually only like fighters who are winning at the time, and dump them as soon as they start losing?
It sounds like to me the only reason you are staying a fan is because you believe he was only caught, and he will come back.

Most of the diehard fans don't need to declare they are sticking it through with a fighter, because that's something that shouldn't be questioned.
Most of the long time posters here know who each others favorite fighters are, because they don't change, and we've argued about them for years.

What's the point or the excitement if you only cheer for winners? I had to deal with all the negative shit people posted about the Diaz brothers for years on this site, so when Nate beat Conor, it was one of the most exciting moments of my life. Redemption. I was finally able to let some of those long time Diaz haters eat some crow.

Again you shouldn't need to let people know. Somehow I bet most of your favorite fighters are champions and/or winners. I would like to compare your favorite fighter list today, and a few years from now. I somehow doubt it will be the same.

Hey, it's a shitty result for him but the fact is he looked great until he got caught. He clearly had the momentum and was starting to really put it on Alvarez. He looked sharp, but it only takes one little mistake and it's game over. He's still a stud.
