Jon Anik, is there something to save us from that?

Anik is so much better than the majority of commentary team. Bisping has a sub 100 IQ I'm sure but has so much confidence in his opinions that people might be confused. DC is extremely bias and acts like a moron when paired with Bisping or Rogan. Cruz is clearly autistic and doesn't work for TV. Felder isn't awful but he's not great. Rogan's brain is mush at this point, I don't know if it's the weed or the mushrooms or the confirmation bias of people telling him he's a great thinker when he's not.

Yes, your post sucks. I like Jon Anik. Every once in a while he says "Trite" during the broadcast. I know that's a biased reason to like him though. He also acknowledges .e sometimes on social media. I know, that's a other biased reason.

I much preferred Goldberg/Rogan. It allowed Rogan to be the excited expert commentator because he was essentially explaining things to Mike.

I still don’t think the 3 bench commentators have got much chemistry. They all know what’s happening so they tend to get too caught up in little things but also perpetuate misconceptions about the rules. In the Bryan Battle fight over the weekend, all three were getting caught up in the control aspect when damage is what’s meant to win fights.

I found when Mike and Joe would have an expert comments guy like Randy Couture come on once per rd, allowed the commentary to flow better. MMA happens so fast, DC/Anik/Joe will get so caught up on details and will be explaining something only for it to not come through or coach the fighter “X needs to go for the underhook, it’s the only way out” X proceeds to power out of position.

He's a pro to his credit but I don't like the robotic unspontaneous delivery. Sounds like he has 7-8 different phrases that he alternates between.

The only one I actively dislike hearing on commentary is Cruz. Swear to god the guy gets salty anytime there’s an exciting fight, he’s always saying how they should slow the fight down and use more elusiveness and wrestling

When broadcasting, Anik has the personality of a tablecloth with his stupid fake laugh, but hearing him on a podcast, he sounds like a great guy.

I’ll never forgive Felder for talking about plumbing problems in his house during a fight.

DC is solid and I enjoy him during the wrestling sequences, almost always gets it right. He can devolve depending who he’s around, especially with Rogan.

Anik is essentially your baseline that can phrase things understandably for the Buffalo Wild Wings crowd. Seems like a really annoying cokehead though.
