Even if Rosas wins, he doesn´t have what it takes to be a top UFC fighter, nevermind champion, nevermind having 3 belts. But he is delusional as f..

I’ve always said this about fighting in general. people are so obsessed with starting kids young in the sport so that by they are in their “prime” they will excel. I find it goes the other way… when kids start younger in fighting they either plateau early or take too much damage to last.
Or in Rosas case they never let him develop through the ranks and fed his ego. I see a short career for this kid.

Not sure about Rosas career but people who start young definately have a chance of going shot early. One example is former title challenger Joe Daddy Stevenson who forgot how throw anything with technique at 28. His last ufc fight is a sad sight. He and opponent engage in what they probably thought was an epic war and the crowd just boooos the shit out of them. And not because nothing was happenning. They booed because how horrible the fight looked. This doesnt happen even in the worst women fights or when CM Punk was in action. It was that bad.

Well it didn't work on the last opponent. Let's just see what happens
Yeah, because Rodriguez is a very good wrestler. And Rosas clearly won the first round, taking Rodriguez down multiple times and dominating the grappling.

Like I said, Mitchell is nowhere near the fighter that Rodriguez is. Rosas has already beaten better fighters than Mitchell.

Hopefully this can rosas gets sent back to the prelims with his 1 dimensional gimmick crap. Do you want to fight, or sniff crotch?

Not to be a keyboard warrior but everything I’ve seen from Terrance is legit bad. Goes to show how much some people know the sport

This is not true. No "I think" the age at which MMA fighters begin training and beginning competing amateur and pro is getting younger and younger and it's correlating with success to. Flyweight Champ Pantoja? Begin competing in Muay Thai and BJJ by 14-15, was training earlier than that and had his MMA pro debut at 17. Moreno before him...very similar began training at 12, went pro at 17. Aljo began wrestling young and crossed over to MMA to do amateurs at 19 while still wrestling in college. Cory began training at 16, competing in kickboxing at 17 and switched to MMA shortly after. Merab? Pfft did Judo and Wrestling and Sambo from a young young age and then switched to Mma when the Olympic rule set for Judo changed. Umar? Pfft began wrestling as a child, then competed in Muay Thai at a national level starting at like 12, by 15-16 moved to Machkala to live and train with Abdulmanap and Khabib basically and started competing in Sambo, amateur MMA and then pro MMA. Sure, Volk started late but Allen, Topuria, Holloway, Yair all literally started as young kids training competing. Lightweight no different, Charles pro debut was 17...was competing in BJJ and training out of MMA gyms before that. Islam was competing in Sambo at like 11, wrestling before that...and debuted in MMA at 18 or 19 pro...he had amateur fights before that too like we saw vs Zabit.

Soon, almost nobody who starts training at 18 will get ranked in MMA. Soon you will see very few cross over talents if they cross over late, gonna be more guys like Izzy who come over to MMA at like 22-23 or Fiziev. Oh Izzy, Dricus and Whittaker were all training and competing as young, young lads too. If you want to be the best at something..it's just the reality. Heavier weightclasses fluctuate more because an utter lack of talent.

Whats he gonna do when he fights good competition and can't sit there and sniff crotches all day?
He's going to lose. But Terrence Mitchell is not good enough to stop him from doing exactly what he wants IMO.

He's also only 18 years old and presumably he's been working hard on his striking and his cardio. He's obviously not as good as he thought he was, but he's a lot better than the haters in this thread seem to think.

He's a talented kid who believed his own hype and gassed himself out trying to force the finish against a tough opponent. We won't know if he learned from it until he faces some adversity again, but I don't think Mitchell is the guy to do it.
