Rashad evans lying about return time

Adrian Peterson returned after 9 months. Might have even won MVP in that football sport, which I hear is kind of physical.

It will probably take 6-9 months for the ACL to heal. Then Rashad would need a few months to train.

No doctor would ever clear him and he would be dumb to even try he would tear it again. Even GSP said this when he got ACL surgery, the absolute minimum is 9 months.

Oh well, if GSP said it it must be true.

I take the word of GSP over an orthopedic surgeon.

Why would he lie about coming back a few months early??

Imo rashads wrestling has never been that strong, its good but it isn't the type that can take anyone down at will, after these knee injuries and age hes gonna struggle against any of the top 10 imo

prime Rashad's wrestling was pretty good, but it has declined lately

Who knows if we'll see him again, i've given up hope.

Would LOVE to see healthy Rashad vs Cormier.

OJ Simpson getting 2000 yards in a 14 game season >>> Adrian Peterson's season.

Peterson and McGregor didn't come back within 6-8 months, there's were around 9 and 11 months respectively.

No, if he was he wouldn't be in a C-Level sport.

Yes, yes it has, but Rice and Woodson still came back in under 6 months from torn ACLs, which is in direct contradiction to what the OP is stating.

Wow, all the rules geared toward passing, on a bad team with probably the worst starting QB in the whole league at the time(Christian Ponder), 8-9 months off a torn ACL, OJ's season was more impressive because he played 2 less games? Id love to see a poll on this , but this isnt the place I guess, and u'd get crushed.

I agree It was good but it was notthing special, with the knee injuries I can see every top 10 fighter with a wrestling background in his divison easily outwrestling him.

Then has have to face legit strikers who we all know Rashad hates engaging with. Don't see a future for him in the UFC, apart from his Fox gig which he is good at.

9 months because you need a training camp or to be in fight shape to fight, but the 6 months means you can go hard and train like normal which technically means you can fight you just won't have time to get into the best shape possible.

Prime Rashad absolutely blew through Rampage with a few double legs like it was nothing in their fight. I'd say his wrestling was more than pretty good.

Adrian Peterson is definitely the exception not the rule

It is so hard for guys to come back and perform like that from that kind of injury, some people are never the same mentally after blowing out their knee

He just got another ACL surgery and said he will be back in 6-8 months. You can ask any orthopedic surgeon in the world, he will not be back for 9-12 months, that is the healing time for that surgery.

I think Rashad as caught a case of the "Yips" he's been away far too long and I hear far more excuses than solid answers as to why he can't fight.

I just asked an orhopedic surgeon, he said 6-9 months.

Sorry.

6-9 months before resuming intense training. Add a 4-6 week training camp and at least 2 weeks for unforeseen circumstances and that takes us to 11 months, 1 month short of a whole year...
