He just got another ACL surgery and said he will be back in 6-8 months. You can ask any orthopedic surgeon in the world, he will not be back for 9-12 months, that is the healing time for that surgery.

Still not as bad as Paige Van Zant lying about shaving her head to cancer kids.

I just asked an orhopedic surgeon, he said 6-9 months.

Sorry.

You can return within 6 months, that's the bare minimum for return to sport.

It's probably dumb to return that early, but it has happened before.

No doctor would ever clear him and he would be dumb to even try he would tear it again. Even GSP said this when he got ACL surgery, the absolute minimum is 9 months.

Pretty sure I remember Jerry Rice, and Rod Woodson playing in the same season after a torn ACL but these are A-Level athletes.

How about the best season ever by a running back, Adrian Peterson? Or how about Conor Mcgregor?
And Rashad Evans is not an "A-Level athlete"?
And medical science hasn't advanced since Jerry Rice?

Dude, you forgot to factor in "help".

He may as well retire or fight Anderson in a big money fight

My whole point is that rashad or the ufc are lying about his return time to try to stay relevant with all the top guys being out. The same thing happened with kerry von erichs foot, they said he would be out 3 months. Also you guys are confusing tearing a ACL with ACL surgery.

Athletes and "normal" people have different timelines. Look at any sport and you will see it. As said, some pro football players (NFL) have had surgery early in the season and returned to the field before the playoffs. It's not uncommon. Not quite as torque-intensive as combat sports, but NASCAR's Denny Hamlin had ACL surgery on a Monday and raced again the next weekend -- winning the race on a track that has some of the highest number of shifts (pushing the clutch with the post-surgery leg) per lap of any on the circuit. I've read about soccer (the other football :D ) players having in-season ACL repairs and playing again. It's happened in the NHL, as well.

Is it advisable? Probably not. Can it be done? Absolutely. Find a sports injury surgeon (there IS a difference) and ask them, not just your everyday orthopod.

OJ Simpson getting 2000 yards in a 14 game season >>> Adrian Peterson's season.

Peterson and McGregor didn't come back within 6-8 months, there's were around 9 and 11 months respectively.

No, if he was he wouldn't be in a C-Level sport.

Yes, yes it has, but Rice and Woodson still came back in under 6 months from torn ACLs, which is in direct contradiction to what the OP is stating.

Imo rashads wrestling has never been that strong, its good but it isn't the type that can take anyone down at will, after these knee injuries and age hes gonna struggle against any of the top 10 imo
