Thanks for your reply, man. That's old school (RINGS & Pancrase) & was great for the day. Bas, Frank, Ken, etc. Palm strike knockouts were are surprise to see back then.
Back in 2000 here in Australia, I could only find about the first 20 UFCs on VHS and the first 8 Prides at the video shop. After that, I started to go to a shop in Melbourne (Minotaur) to buy the NTSC versions from the US (costed about $40 each??) and then just had to buy online. They finally started to release PAL versions here, but that took years (Eagle Entertainment released them, which is a New Zealand company).
UFC 1 or 2 was the first one I watched & was hooked from there. I liked boxing as a kid, then saw kickboxing & thought, I wonder what would happen if they went to the ground. UFC tought me what was possible with the extra dimension of all round fighting/NHB/MMA.
