I’m in the U.K. so they, frustratingly, don’t always filter through if they are in the US or Japan etc. Please feel free to dm a link if it isn’t too much trouble.

Total f'n Respect!!! Can only dream to have such awesome items. Must have taken a lot of time to obtain over many years. You're a master & I'm just a try hard, but I do try. I bow down, sir.

Thank you my friend. I've always thought I had some good stuff, but never really been able to connect with someone that loves the sport & collects so much. I've looked up collections online & seen a kid (Gunther I think?) on youtube, but he just done DVD reviews. You should do program reviews. Would be great to see ya flicking through pages. It's historic!!

Well done to @Van Daz for bringing us all together.

No, thank you all for joining in. Didn't know how it would go. Feelin' the love. I've collected stuff & watched sherdog for a long time, but thought I'd finally step out of the shadows of just being a bystander & try to connect. This was my first thread & are totally surprised by peoples reactions & input. Should have reached out to you guys long ago. Thanks to you all for your spirit. Makes me feel that that are some really good people out there in the world, it's just of matter of finding them:-) Ya just don't know until ya give it a go. Hespect to ya'll.

Feel free to DM me as this is my favourite sport & would be happy to chat further to such nice people that have such Pride (pardon the pun) in it, too.

Pride FC still bringing people together all these years later.

Thanks for your reply, man. That's old school (RINGS & Pancrase) & was great for the day. Bas, Frank, Ken, etc. Palm strike knockouts were are surprise to see back then.

Back in 2000 here in Australia, I could only find about the first 20 UFCs on VHS and the first 8 Prides at the video shop. After that, I started to go to a shop in Melbourne (Minotaur) to buy the NTSC versions from the US (costed about $40 each??) and then just had to buy online. They finally started to release PAL versions here, but that took years (Eagle Entertainment released them, which is a New Zealand company).

UFC 1 or 2 was the first one I watched & was hooked from there. I liked boxing as a kid, then saw kickboxing & thought, I wonder what would happen if they went to the ground. UFC tought me what was possible with the extra dimension of all round fighting/NHB/MMA.
I used to have a VHS of an Australian MMA event, I can't recall the name but it was a year or two after UFC #1.

It was a one night tournament and one of the fighters had a long ponytail and hair-holding was allowed. He pulled off the win but his opponent used his ponytail to control him throighout.

I thought for sure that as soon as he hit the locker-room the scissors would come out.

Nope.

Next fight his opponent went straight for the hair, grabbed it and used it to direct tbe guy's head into a series of punches and knees.

One of the top three weirdest decisions I've ever seen a fighter make
