Ranking the Star Wars Saga

Never watched a single movie. They all suck ass equally.

Had its moments. I'll never sit through it again just because of the robot.

Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie in the last 20 years.

Rogue One was better than any of the new stuff besides Solo.

1. Revenge of the Sith
2. The Force Awakens
3. A New Hope
4. Attack of the Clones
5. The Last Jedi
6. Return of the Jedi
7. A Phantom Menace
8. Rise of Skywalker
9. The Empire Strikes Back
10. All the Spin-offs
This has to be a troll lol

EMPIRE
NEW HOPE
ROTJ
ROTS
ROGUE 1
TPM
CLONE BORES

No other movies happened

Just saw Rise. Have not seen Solo so I won't rank.

1. Empire
2. A New Hope
3. Return
4. Revenge of the Sith (best of the Prequels)
5. Rogue One
6. Phantom Menace
7. Rise of Skywalker
8. Force Awakens
9. Attack of the Clones

(Everything else except Last Jedi)

Last Place: The Last Jedi

1-5 are set
6-7 shift on my mood....
I hope I never have to rate Last Jedi over anything...

Don't worry - even if you seen solo you might as well have not seen solo

nothing happened in that movie

Is it better than Last Jedi?

I mean it didn't destroy everything and undo the original trilogy and piss in my eye if that's what you mean

Solo wasn't offensive. .... Just boring. Bland. Nothing new to the table

Oh I guess they did fuck with Lando tho

If i wanted to troll i'd put Phantom Menace as my favorite one, wouldn't i?
No because Revenge of the Sith is almost equally as bad. You have Empire, universally recognized as the best, at the very last and you have prequels over the OG trilogy.

Last Jedi had some good moments and some really crappy moments. 30% good 70% bad if we are talking capturing the essence of star wars. As much as I hate to say this you can actually sit through the sequels where as phantom menace and attack of the clones were painfully bad looking back aside from the lightsaber battles which were A LOT better in the prequels.

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Return of the Jedi
3. Revenge of the Sith
4. New Hope
5. Rogue One
6. Force Awakens
7. Last Jedi
8. Rise of Skywalker
9. Attack of the Clones
10. Phantom Menace
11. Solo Star Wars movie

To each their own of course, but the Prequels at least complimented the OT as history, whereas the New Trilogy (Last Jedi most notably) threw everything out the trash chute...just the opinion of a middle aged fan here.

1. Rogue One
2. Episode III
3. Episode V
4. Episode IV
5. Episode I
6. Episode VII
7. Episode VI
8. Episode VIII
9. Episode II
10. Episode IX

The original trilogy has the best story hands down, but the movies shouldn't have been made in the 70s/80s as they look incredibly dated and cheesy now. Episode 9 was the biggest clusterfuck of a movie I may have ever seen.

I'm getting there lol 32 years young . I agree with you and I dislike the sequel trilogy , mainly the shallow forgettable characters they added however as movies they are cinematically better than the TPM and AOTC. I will say that duel of the fates battle in TPM and the Yoda count dooku battle in AOTC might be better than the entire sequel trilogy

for me...these latest three installments are pure garbage and dont even get a ranking of any sort....

the rest really are interchangable depending on my mood and how long its been since Ive seen them, the originals were surely not without faults ....the second set obviously has its share but IMO are still very enjoyable , Rogue 1 and Solo I really liked and Mandalorian too

there needs to be a petition to erase the newest trilogy from society's collective memory and get a redo....

Except for the fact Carrie Fisher's final years were wasted....

After the Prequels, all I really needed was a STAR WARS film that didn't look fake as hell. As long as it seems real, the outdoors seem like outdoors, and the characters seem to be interacting with the physical landscape. That's all I really needed: just a little bit of the realness.

Until TFA came around and showed me, yeah, I want a halfway decent story too.

I think all the new films look tremendous, so latter day STAR WARS has been very enjoyable to me in spite of a few bumps and bruises along the way.

Kathleen Kennedy's feminist agenda really got in the way of Star Wars. I don't mind strong female characters but Rey, Holdo, and Rose Tico are so bland and shallow that it's hard to enjoy their scenes
