Also UFC is a not a sport. Sports have tournaments where you win and move on.

I miss the days when fighting 3-4x a year was normal, now if you fight 2x a year you are considered an active fighter.

You shouldn't be able to be inactive for an entire year and maintain your rankings. There should be an official policy on this. Stipe and Ortega still being ranked that high or at all is ridiculous.

Anybody who hasn't fought in 365 days should not be ranked, no exceptions.

I did some timeline breakdown of when Ortega and Tony were both #1, and they've only won 1 fight each since that time, but Tony is unranked cuz he fought twice as much.

Why fight at all if you can just sit out and never move,

Brian Ortega will go down as one of the most overrated fighters of all time. He's had 1 win in the last 6 years, he was losing 90% of his wins before he got a flukey comeback, and he got absolutely massacred in his 2 title shots. It is legitimately debatable that he is even a top 10 fighter but the division is so woefully thin that he is just kept there out of desperation. But you know "current era is the best ever" and "the sport has evolved" and all that <Lmaoo>
