I think Fedor would've wrecked Randy when they wanted to do the fight 10 years ago, but this is a much closer fight because they're closer in age.

44-year-old Randy Couture who beat Tim Sylvia and Gonzaga vs. 42-year-old Fedor who KO'd washed up Frank Mir and Chael Sonnen in round 1.

One came late to the game late and had very little damage compared to the other at the same age, its hard to Compare based on age alone.
Based on his latest comeback I'd say Randy still has some left in the tank to take on current fedor.

Current Fedor's chin is absolutely gone, but he has kept most of his speed, surprisingly enough.

That's a good point. Fedor has almost 20 years of MMA right now, while Randy had 10 years at that time.

Randy has those pre usada vitamins too, Fedor doesn't look as TST as he used to.

Ask again after the Bader fight.

I think Randy would have wrestlefucked him, but Fedor could just as easily caught him with a bomb or submission so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

fedor would knock him out if he landed, randy would have to close the distance asap and grind him.

I would probably still take Fedor, he's lost a step in speed/reaction time and his chin isn't nearly what it was but 2007 Couture is significantly slower, doesn't have much striking power and isn't as good of a striker as Fedor. Fedor also has a strong clinch game and has shown good scrambling in his last few fights.

How did Randy beat Sylvia and Gonzaga then? He probably would have smashed Crocop at that time too.

Randy would get beaten by Fedor in 2007 like he beat his dick in 2018

Why are you comparing fighters that are nothing like Fedor to Fedor? That makes no sense. I doubt Couture would have smashed Cro Cop, he might have beaten him because he wasn't used to the cage yet but he's a bad match up for Couture.

Sylvia and Gonzaga are both slower than Couture and Sylvia had a back injury, Fedor is way faster than them.

Couture matched up well with Sylvia and Gonzaga as he had a speed and significant wrestling advantage over both, he doesn't have those big advantages over Fedor or Cro Cop.

Because you argue that Fedor was a better striker. But so were Sylvia and Gonzaga. So was Chuck liddell. Randy knew how to work around that.

Also Fedors these days isnt really fast. And Randy absolutely has a wrestling advantage over Crocop.

Speaking of Crocop... It had zero to do with the cage. He was just a miserable fuck, LOL. Didn't really want the challenge in the UFC, was always grumpy and rightfully got his butt kicked in the UFC.

Randy's got inside info on Tim's back injury and he slammed his forehead on GG's nose when he took him down. GG wasn't the same after that.

Currently i guess Fedor, may tko him, but i don't really care

Prime Fedor will have absolutely wreckked him though

Styles make fights, Sylvia and Gonzaga are slow and both have bad wrestling and Sylvia had an injured back. I didn't say Fedor would only beat Couture because he's a better striker, that's just the only thing in my post you read/payed attention to.

Fedor is still very fast these days, he landed like 3-4 haymakers on Sonnen in like 1 second.

Wow, you really do not know what you are talking about if you think that Cro Cop not doing as well in the UFC early had nothing to do with the fighting environment being much larger and not having corners.

2018 Fedor fought Sonnen recently who is very similar in style to 2007 Couture and he finished him in the first round.
