Rampage explains how outer space is a hoax

What "science" people don't realize, is that any classified technology, to them, cannot exist until they're told by the authorities that it does (meaning it becomes unclassified).

It's a pathetic way of thinking, handing over your ability to believe (or not believe) things to your government authorities.

Literally anything that they classify, science skeptics will deny the existence of. Why? Because you cannot prove it, you can only supply evidence - which they'll ignore, and demand proof.

That's why these idiots get laughed at every time they try to disparage the religious. They fail to see how they're exactly the same, with their own set of popes and preachers - the state.

BTW I brought this up because lasers are a good example. Before it became public knowledge, they were experimenting and using them for years behind closed doors. There were leaks, and people were talking about them, but no civilian had the physical proof (which would require a major security breach to achieve).

The "science" people in here now, would have been telling everyone who spread word of the laser tech leaks, that lasers don't exist, and calling them examples of the Dunning Kruger effect for believing it, while they sit there waiting for Daddy government to tell them the truth. They don't even realize that their minds belong to the state.
The refusal to believe or strongly believe in the possibility of something that has not been proven by science is an absolute death blow to scientific inquiry!!!

History is filled with the naysayers on that side and they stand in the way of the kind of faith that is required for science to progress. They're the ones that mocked germ theory and made fun of the Wright brothers for trying to fly!!!

What you are describing is not science but scientism the religion of science that has a great deal of faith in the amount of science being done and its ability to have already proven everything leaving really no mystery!!!

The main thing to keep in mind though, is that this kind of closed mindedness and faith is not scientific at all and they don't represent the scientific method. They just represent a warped sick fundamentalist view of science and they are really the mirror image of fundamentalist christians. They have more in common with fundamentalist Christians than they have with the average person. It's amazing how obvious this is and you can tell because that same crowd is usually the most vehemently against fundamentalist religion and it's because they spot themselves in it. They just don't see that due to a lack of sufficient introspection. Those two groups are two sides to the same dysfunctional polarity....

If a tree falls in the forest and there's not a scientist to observe it, did it make a sound?

Once again, you demonstrate your complete lack of understanding of physics and engineering. The first lasers didn't just appear out of nowhere, there was a solid theoretical understanding of how they would/could work, along with working early first steps towards a laser being developed by scientists in universities and private labs all over the world. This was all publicly available information to anyone interested in the subject.

Because you know nothing about physics, you think this is what's happening with faster than light travel - it's all the same black magic to you and because there's a paper on it, we're close. In reality, we're nowhere remotely close to even a solid theoretical framework of how we could build a faster than light craft, much less working examples of the early steps in the process. The few attempts have been completely inconclusive with virtually zero progress being made. In order to build such a craft, we would need major developments in several areas of physics and engineering, and those things wouldn't happen in a vacuum - if they occurred, everyone in the scientific world would know about it and you would have research labs all over the world working on the early steps, the way virtually every other form of modern technology has been developed.
Sad that it has to be spelled out for anyone but yes. We are no longer at a point where just a couple of people can make a major advance like this.

But if it requires it, CTers will choose to believe that there’s thousands of scientists slaving away in the shadows across the world in complete silence. The stretching to make the narrative work never ends with them. It seems like it can never be too far with too many excuses made to be believable to them.

That’s a nice thought and all but no one is in here telling people FTL travel is impossible. Were saying it hasn’t happened yet and that stupid video he posted is obviously fake.

Are you talking about me? If so, there's no reason to respond to you. You clearly know nothing about physics, but think that you do. Why you're wrong has been explained to you multiple times, but because you're convinced you have an understanding of a subject that you don't understand at all, you refuse to accept the explanation. What point would there be to repeat the same back and forth with you for the 10th time?
He still won't get it.

You are purposely muddying the water to avoid answering a simple week 1 at college question.

You're flat on the earth, how far is the distance before a 100ft building disappears behind the curve? There's literally a formula out there created by scientists that doesn't vary dummy.
What’s the formula? You’re gonna say 8 inches per miles squared and show how uneducated you are. That’s a formula from Samuel Rowbothum and his book Zetetic Astronomy. And the comedy in all this is he is not a scientist. Do you ever tire of being wrong?
Btw, that formula is for a parabola; is the Earth a parabola, genius?

I'm talking about a principal not that specific instance. I don't really have any interest in that specific instance actually.

But this general polarity that we're witnessing in threads like this reflects a larger division happening in the country and even globally and it's being talked about and spoken about by philosophers and thinkers alike.

Nobody who's thinking about the issue deeply doesn't see a problem on both sides of the aisle here.

I don't know who you are and I don't know your post history so I have no reason to care whether it applies to you or not. But the issue itself is a real one.

Edit also faster than light speed may well have been achieved by beings outside of our world. There are certainly enough observations from a wide enough array of people across time and cultures to suspect that is the case or even believe it is the case. You only cannot say it's been proven, but you can say you're convinced by the evidence that it has happened and it is reasonable to be convinced by that evidence.

Still holding on to that "frame skip", I see. LMAO.

The space between Flerfs ears is a confirmed vacuum.

I mean, just go to a top class observatory and do some study. If they think they could disprove the current theories, they'd be rich beyond measure in no time.

They could crowd fund a new understanding of the universe. They'd be uber-famous. They'd be geniuses.

But nah.

Only a select few bellends will ever know.

You should just provide an answer to his question...

If you know the circumference the of the earth, this is easy for the average person to figure out. I hope you didnt graduate from college.

So for real, you are telling me that you are unable to calculate the distance it would take for a ship to disappear behind the curve....assuming it headed straight out to sea from the coast?

Wow

Lol.
You’re a fool.
I lose track, are you dipshit 1 or dipshit 2?
You both say unfounded crap and pass it off as if it were fact, so I can't tell the difference.
The other dipshit though, to be fair to you he stated some crap about the laser beam not widening by the time it gets to the moon and has since just taken to reacting to my posts so he doesn't have to acknowledge he was schooled by a conspiracy nutter who knows nothing about science.
At least you reply 😘

So, because you don’t understand something, it must be fake?
I would explain it in crayon, but you and your Flerf buddies already ate them.
That guy has conveniently shown us how to say, "I don't know what bit rate is," without actually saying it. I guess when you send pictures over the internet they go through the wires as little icons lol

Yes I’m holding no to the obvious edit, along with the other issues I pointed out and your inability to answer the questions I asked.

Why do this cheap shit where you focus on one point and ignore the others? Thats being generous too because the point about the skip is very valid. Oh it just happened to have a skip the moment the plane vanished.

OK but you’re responding like you’re supporting this guy saying bonkers shit in here and providing goofy videos as his evidence. Meanwhile I haven’t really seen any of the people arguing with him being scientifically incurious or however you want to put it. Just skeptical of silly claims.

BTW I was clearly talking about humans having FTL travel because that’s been the conversation. Whether or not some aliens in an infinitely vast universe have done it or not is obviously not answerable unless we have clear proof of it.

Here’s the proper formula, doofus. Let’s see you figure it out.
h = r * (1 - cos a)

Say, where did "how do space communications work?" guy go?

This video should be informative for him/you,

And it doesn't even use any fancy lasers--except perhaps for targeting accuracy--just radio signals.
