I agree. I think Jake would beat current Rampage in MMA. Rampage is shot man. He has no cardio left. He looks like he can hardly move around on those knees and he's slow now. Jake would be smart enough to train a little TDD and sub defense and then jab and circle out. Wait for 3 minutes until Rampage gets tired and then either TKO him standing or jump on top of him and pound him out. Rampage is 46 years old but seems like 60 to me.

Like I said earlier, Rampage probably hadn't gone for a TD in 15 years and is fat shell of his former self. I can see the Rampage who beat Liddell (either fight) beating Jake in MMA and taking him down if necessary. That version of Rampage was in the same age range as Jake is right now. He was also a good high school wrestler and a pretty good MMA wrestler. But not a fat, nearly 50-year old Rampage who probably has shot knees and a bad back.

He would likely pin him against the cage, get the fight down and pound away.

The issue is this guy has never been in a mma fight, he has never defended a clinch, a TD or having a fighter on top of him grappling and punching him or tying him up. Even a old and out of shape Rampage would still be able to put him down and pound away. It would very lazy and ugly but Rampage would easily take it like that. The other thing is that Paul cant hurt Rampage in a mma fight, too much size difference and Paul is not a power puncher. Rampage would him pin against the cage, use his weight to get him down and the pound him out.
