Media Rampage Being Rampage

MMA fans tend to forget that these guys are giving each other brain damage for our entertainment. They're not exactly people you want to meet in person (with some exceptions).
I disagree. Martial artists, fighters, jiu jitsu practitioners tend to be amongst the most chill humans you will ever meet.

Rampage doesn't like being famous, being recognized everywhere and having to constantly interact with fans, he's said it many times.

Has nothing to do with him being a fighter.

That type of stuff usually travels down family lines. Usually something to do with childhood and upbringing.

People don't usually know where their own behaviours come from. It's unconscious, even if they might try to consciously control them.

A lot of times, it requires a skilled third party who's able to dig into those patterns and cycles, make the individual conscious of them, then take steps to correct the behaviour and root causes within them and the family line as a whole.

Until that happens, these things tend to continue down a family line.

Martial arts is actually supposed to be a vehicle for a higher level of control, but a lot of those old lessons have been stripped out of the systems. You can become a highly skilled fighter today without necessarily learning how to control your own power, energy and emotions.

Fighters should be amongst the most skilled at navigating their own fluctuation of states, but that isn't considered a necessary part of the training anymore.
It came from his grandparents to his parents to the whole neighbourhood to him. I wonder what could have happened to his grandparents 🤔.

I remember when Rampage told the story how he jump flew over a huge gate without touching it from adrenaline cause some guys were gonna shoot him and his cousins.

He’s known for doing this to fans. People go up to him and ask these kinds of questions specifically to get that response out of him, for clicks and views online. They know what they’re doing. I’m not sure what the outrage is about. When he was putting his hands on and slapping around the Japanese fans, it was all laughs on this site. But he does it to a few of you guys here in the US and it’s the end of the world.

Wait look at the guys face. The smirk. Laughing at his reaction. Not being suprised or oh no misunderstanding. He also sounds like he is lying about being a huge fan. He did it on purpose. Look closely at his face and reactions. He knew that would tilt Rampage.

Ask yourself if some guy asked you what was it like getting your knee smashed in and finished by the guy who beat you up.
He didn't ask it from a sports competitive motivation. Nah Rampage saw trough him. Not that it's hard to do. What was it like getting beat up by Jon Jones in other words 😂 and the fake "I'm a huge fan" act.

I really don’t get why they’re white knighting for the guy who’s clearly a social media troll.

Oh so he is a influencer ? Ok he got his reaction and clicks.

Social media is like 60% fake. They literaly research and study how to get friction. The things which you see that have a lot of traffic. It's a full career. They aren't just funny or cool. It's planned out. From the small to big things. Psychology. Details. The first 3 seconds of a video. Colors. Editing. Framing. Don't trust social media. Youtube instagram tiktok use advanced psychology too get you to consume reels. Many tricks that most aren't aware of. The the creators aka influencers try to do it too. Rampage isn't stupid. He might act a fool.

He doesn't? The entire reason he's relevant is because of his streaming career, he loves being famous, he just doesn't like it when he doesn't like it, acts like a dick to someone, then makes an emotional appeal about how hard it is to deal with fame to justify him being an asshole

Rampage needs to chill and just relax, he is so uptight about everything. I've seen fighters before asked how it was fighting Fedor and they all basically answered the same thing.. how great he is, even Sonnen was asked what its like fighting Fedor by a fan and he said he couldn't believe how fast Fedor was, he was unbelievably fast.. and thats coming from Sonnen who is a loud mouth. So to ask whats its like to fight Jones (whos one of the GOATS) is just a normal simple thing.
Yep, Chael was asked about fighting Jon Jones and his response was totally different than Rampage's.

When you have a guy that size up close to you, anyone, even Rampage is going to have an evolutionary response of his adrenaline spiking through the roof. We all experience this until eventually we choose fight or flight, and Rampage is getting up there in age and isn't quite sure he can take a young athletic guy that big and strong anymore, so he used the fear adrenaline response to build himself up and got brave enough only when the big guy turned away from him.

I mean even if you know you can handle yourself, you will get an adrenaline rush if you think you're about to have a confrontation with a big scary looking motherfucker like that.
But the guy wasn't aggressive at all. Asking what it's like to fight the GOAT of your weight class isn't a confrontational, fight-or-flight question.

Boxers, Kickboxers, MMA athletes, Muay Thai fighters bad people confirmed. By this guy.

What about Soldiers ?

Confirmation confirmed. 😬🤖
I've heard Navy Seals are some of the most chill guys. They know how to turn on and turn off their aggression.

I think you're reading your own narrative into this. The guy wasn't intimidated by Rampage but I don't see any indication that he was trolling.

He does this because it makes him money. He doesn't LOVE being famous or being in the public eye all the time, having no privacy and all the things that come with it and has said this COUNTLESS times on podcasts In a very real way.

He's specifically said that's one of the reasons he loved fighting In pride. He could make money then come back home and nobody knew who he was.

Half of the people you see In front of cameras know that in order to make money, they have to sell themselves, their personality and brand, but on the other end, also wish they could just disappear and go off grid.

It's a love and hate relationship, and if you've been paying attention to the entertainment industry for any reasonable length of time, It's not uncommon.

You have a delusional, romanticized idea about being famous, but don't understand the pressure, stress and everyhing else that comes with it.

Fans who just expect these public figures to always be this bundle of happiness and joy at all times, don't live In reality. Plain and simple.

I don't judge any figure on isolated moments, because I know how complex and difficult that life can be. When someone spends half their lives In front of cameras, It's very easy to just isolate a moment and use it to define who that person is, but that's not how things work. It only highlights how shallow and small minded the observer doing this is.

Dude, I agree in general, but the point is we know what Rampage has SAID, we just don't necessarily believe him

It's not like his behavior in any time in history would indicate that he would act any other way.

Rampage is not the best example of grace nor has he ever been.

But going up to a man and asking him about losing a fight in front of millions of people knowing that was likely a soul crushing defeat that he trained extremely hard for and experienced loss, disappointment and injury ... its not as cute as people seem to think.

Kid wanted a reaction and got one.

yeah but he didn't ask him 2 weeks after his loss though. he asked him about a loss that occurred like 15 yrs ago lmao mofo is still butthurt about losing 15 yrs ago?
