Rampage’s son beats a wrestler into a coma! At in indie wrestling event!

i don't know if california still has mandatory minimum sentencing, i know they used to. i do think a slightly lesser charge is the move here, as it's more likely he'll plead guilty. it's also kind of doesn't help him anyways, considering the well-documented premeditation and his documented professional fighting background. depending on the lawyers, he could still be looking at a 20 year sentence, where he'll serve 8 or 9.
If he acts the same way in prison (if he goes) when he feels he has been treated with insufficient respect, I foresee unpleasantess for him.
Seen the guy convulsing after that beatdown in one of the videos. His buddies claiming he was choking on blood and teeth. That guy Raja deserves many many years in prison otherwise he's a severe danger to society

Like father like son...
This also very suspect. It was the woman who dropped the charges. Was probably paid a fuck ton of money. If that's true, this scumbag Rampage is worse than Jon Jones
One of the victims in the above police chase filed a civil suit against Jackson and claimed that the impact of her abdomen with the steering wheel caused her amniotic fluid membranes to rupture, ultimately resulting in the stillbirth of her baby. She requested $25,000 in damages for property damage, personal injury, and emotional distress. Farrah Emami, Spokesperson for the DA's office, said: "We reviewed all the medical records and spoke with the victim's physician, and the evidence showed that the loss of the fetus was not related to or a result of the crash caused by the defendant."

Rumors goin around that he's finally been arrested

From that story, for those who haven't seen the video.

“I’m gonna really have to show him that you can’t just hit a f--king can on my goddamn face,” Jackson says ringside leading up to the incident. “I’m really going to hit him, I’m telling you. I’m dead serious, this is not going to be scripted, I’m telling you.

“I know I’m wrestling in the script, I’m telling you what I’m gonna do to the guy,” he continued.

Even if you still bizarrely felt the need to kayfabe it, like ring the bell and call a DQ, you know? Why do we need a pinfall?
Humans do all kinds of things in traumatic situations that don't make much sense. Now add to that reality that this was in some low-brow regional wrestling show....it was almost, inevitable.

They need to erase that promotion from existence.

Yeah, that's the ticket...but before that there's the matter of them giving Raja a major 7 or 8 figure check for financial compensation. He did contribute to the match with No Regard for his own safety, right?

The LAPD is looking into it, translates to: they won't even give this its own case number let alone persue charges unless it's a 187, or media metric tracks otherwise to allow a bright young prosecuter the platform to move up.
It's Los Angeles. Mayor Bass, with Newsome's approval, will charge Syko Stu with any damage to Raja's fists PLUS the extreme emotional trauma of getting interfered with while being pulled off of Stu and stopping the extremely violent plans he clearly & openly discussed during his live streaming session.
I wanted to join and become the "purple dangler" but not now that this happened. I don’t want some influencer punk scrambling my brain for clicks.
<{MingNope}>

Ummm, possibility of ANY "influencer punk scrambling my brain" thoughts are not at all Sherdoggian.

Lol, ITS a performance built on trust

At the time it probably seemed like a good idea to make sure the audience wasn't traumatized. "ThE sHoW mUSt gO On" as the saying goes. It is hilariously retarded in hindsight though.

Absolutely absurd. Talk about adding insult to injury, and in a weird way legitimizing Raja Jackson's attack as if it was part of the script. Of course that's not what they were thinking at the time but it in hindsight it just looks pathetic, especially since the "referee" and the wrestler doing the pin were the two people closest to the incident and none of them lifted a finger to help.

You could probably argue that everyone present were in various stages of shock.
This is an extremely unusual thing to have happen at a wrestling show at least in the modern era.
The distinction between who's supposed to be in there and what they've been instructed to do was woefully unclear to everyone else

The only ones who knew his real intent when he ran in the ring were the 2 guys with him, and the live chat.
The slam koed him, but that may not have been as obvious to them as it to us.
I don't think they were necessarily afraid or hesitant.
I think it was the first time any of them had seen anything that hard to process in real time.

And even once they committed to intervening, there's still the reality that they're not actually the characters they portray.
By the time they're converging, you can tell that they got there quicker than they would, and then it dawned on them that they don't actually know what to do, so you see them collectively pause, look around briefly in the hopes someone else would go first.

That delay allowed Raj to land a few more, but he was already committed to pouring it on with everything he could muster.

There was no contingency plan or strategy that could have shaved any real seconds off their response time.

I was arrested for yelling at a guy once because it was threatening. Like immediately arrested. Sent to jail. Charges were eventually dropped.

This mfer almost kills someone and they have to consider the circumstances.

Lmao what a world.

Tf shithole state arrests you for yelling lmao

100%

Those are grocery baggers and Uber drivers dressed as warlords and mad max extras lol
I'm not gonna rag on them too much.

Look how many posters had to watch it again after initially assuming it was definitely fake

to be fair, i think stu or some related party has to press charges.

Not in California. Victims don’t need to press charges for there to be an arrest or even prosecution in the case of assault. Police just need a report and probable cause to move forward on an arrest.

I don’t believe for a second nobody reported it to the LAPD(which they claimed). Even just people who saw the video can report a crime and there’s just no way nobody out of the millions who have seen this and want to know how he hasn’t been arrested haven’t reported it to the LAPD with the evidence.

i mean yeah, there's no way it hasn't been reported and there's no shortage of evidence. i have no faith in law enforcement though, they probably have too many homeless people to harass.

It probably depends on the state. I beat somebody up one time and he didn't want to press charges, but his place of employment did because it happened at his job. I got just a misdemeanor instead of a felony. In Louisiana.
