Rampage’s son beats a wrestler into a coma! At in indie wrestling event!

Rampage is constantly giving shit to / humiliating his son in their videos, at first I thought it was just messing around , but you can tell it bothers him, and it’s probably a constant behaviour which he’s had to deal with his whole life .. no excuse , but in hindsight this “brain explosion” by his son was probably inevitable at some point .

All over twitter allegedly they can’t wake the guy up. Idk what led to this but damn wtf! No excuse for this shit!!

I wonder what came over him to lose control like that.

Buddy, I was obviously generalizing. We're looking at a situation where hours later one guy used the cover of agreeing to participate in a show to beat an unsuspecting man unconscious and then KEEP beating him while he lay there out cold. And not only are there witnesses, it's all on video. Those are the facts of this situation, hotshot.

I never said anything about this situation. "Hours later" is exactly one of the variables.

Obvious generalizing is a stretch, you left out every important detail and probably just wanted to sound tough like you always do. Regardless, glad you recognize this one 👌

Ok I watched it I thought it was worse. I thought he literaly landed 20 punches. Still knocking out a knocked out old man is despicable. He will get what he deserves.

is it possible for rampage to pay the guy to not press charges? or could charges be pressed regardless of whether the wrestler wants to or not?
Since it's on film + had live witnesses the DA will 100% press charges.

Paying someone off is usually civil cases or criminal cases in which the person being paid off represents majority of the evidence so no case if they don't talk (ex: celebrity rape cases).

Yes on what his son did.
I disagree, a son will not bear the iniquity of his father, and father will not bear the iniquity of sons.

You wanting Rampage to fail and lose everything sounds like a personal problem on your end.
If you beat someone to almost death for no reason that is a failure
You said Quinton Jackson failed as a fighter, I said he did not. Now you’re talking about his son Raja? Like I said it seems you can’t separate the two. Rampage definitely did not fail as a fighter.
Bad excuse. He should never feel the need to slam someone in their head and punch their unconscious body 20x. If that's who you are, too dangerous for city. Go to jail.
It’s not a bad excuse it’s also not a good one, everyone on this earth has spilled their cup at one point in their life it’s part of being humans, circumstances may differ but we all reached that point. Is this who Raja Jackson is? who knows, it seems to be his first incident, although it’s a very very bad one. This is his moment of weakness, how he handles the situation moving forward and future incidents will be telling. He’s most definitely going to jail, for what thats still tbd.
Obviously that's what I meant. It's not an impulae it's a decision. He waited an hour and talked how he will do this. It's recorded.
Yes, I watched the video, i don’t believe he plotted it for a hr, I think the chat or whoever was on his stream further pricked at his emotions to the point the decision to do what he did was based on that. Impulse and decisions may differ but when it comes to emotions, it’s in the gray.
powerbombing a old man right on his head and whaling 20 power shots on his face not stopping till you get broken up from him. He almost did kill him. The man was in a coma. He is not doing good as we speak. Filthy.
Im not downplaying what he did, it was some sub human shit, but who knows the official charges will be if/when it occurs.
Not american. They both actually need to hide their head in shame and disapear from the spotlight. I meant Raja first. No Raja goes to jail for this not Quinton.
I agree they should be ashame and lay low for a while, but I don’t think Quinton will disappear entirely, if one good thing hopefully comes out of this, it’s the Rampage has a reflection and sees his mistakes, influence can have on someone, hopefully they both grow as adults moving forward, “hopefully” I’ll leave that in quotations as Im not optimistic about it tbh.

dude if you think that's leaping into action, that's preposterous. the ref was just standing there watching and yelling "stoppppp" like a drunk girlfriend watching her bf fight someone at the bar. it's his job too. he's not some rec league soccer ref. he's a worker too.

i realize you said some of these people are your friends so of course you're going to have that kind of opinion but that was an absolutely pathetic response from everyone involved in that event, professionally. from waiting 5 seconds to intervene, to not getting any retribution, to letting the guy just walk out of there. absolutely pathetic.

It's not the territory days. Most indy wrestlers these days have never had a real fight and never had to protect the business like they used to back in the day. This is like a trained fighter wailing on a dude in an office or something, they have clearly never been in that situation before and didn't have a clue what to do.

Half of this thread and all the comments online are assuming that this is a ref like Big John McCarthy instead of a mechanic in a striped shirt.

Plus I doubt Jackson has that sort of hush money .. also there is nothing to “hush” lol

I'm not a lawyer but with all the video evidence of him being egged on, and basically bullied by his dad into getting his 'get back' I think it would be considered serious mitigating circumstances in any conviction.

Most of us are rational adults that understand our past experiences and biology contribute to our emotional stability. We don't need this explained. There is a place where we isolate individuals to protect society whose inability to control their emotions lead to violent outbursts. That's where this young man belongs.

The rest of this armchair psychoanalysis is just mental masturbation.
It’s still a more interesting conversation than the regular “he should be in jail for a long period of time”, which everybody already agreed on.

Rampage and his kid have an interesting father-son dynamic to say the least. There’s probably some lessons to be learned there on how to not raise your child.
