Rampage’s son beats a wrestler into a coma! At in indie wrestling event!

He can't sue rampage lmao. For what??

But the kid def needs a stint in the big house.

Completely unrepentant and a danger to society
People on here cant differentiate Rampage and Raja, Rampage wasnt even there at the event. It seems people coming out of the woodworks to hate on Rampage, though Rampage failed as a father, Rampage wasnt the one who committed the crime. Lol at sueing Quinton Jackson.

I mean I think that was a fair assumption, why would anyone assume he'd try to straight up body bag the dude in front of a live audience?

That was a next level crashout. Tf was dude thinking smh.
The problem is, he's not a wrestler. He's a professional fighter. The situation seemed like it could have calmed down without having to make a wrestling angle out of it.

Like even if raja was cool your bringing in a non pro wrestler, who hasn't trained to do anything like this to go out there and fake beat up someone who hit him with a beer can a few minutes ago. It's a mind numbingly stupid thing to do.

There was no preparation.

never had a single incident of real violence in 15 years? i find that incredibly hard to believe, especially when the talent is apparently working angles and hitting people they've never met before backstage. no excuse for raja's actions, he should be doing 25 to life, and i think the lack of security gives stu grounds for a lawsuit against the promotion as well. asinine lackadaisical response.

Its not hard to believe at all, as someone that goes to these shows multiple times a month and knows the exact kind of people that go to these shows, I can pretty much guarantee theres never any violence there

You sound like a guy thats watched Wrestling With Shadows one too many times and believes all that bullshit, this aint the territories and it aint Stu Harts Dungeon, its not a bunch of steroided up tough guys and shoot wrestlers with anger issues, its a bunch of weekend warriors that will never make it farther than these warehouse matches doing pretend shows in front of family and friends and maybe a couple hundred dedicated fans, most of them socially awkward non violent weirdos and a lot of special needs people, which is how I got into this scene, because of my special needs nephew

The only time Ive ever seen any kind of almost violence happen at the literal hundreds of shows Ive been to is when a grown special needs guy leapt into the ring from his front row seat and tried to pretend like he was making the 3 count and no one beat him up, they simply told him to get out of the ring and then yelled at him, this was before they knew he was special needs

oh fuck off lmfao it's very obvious i didn't have proper context as clips are getting taken down left and right and

people were in the fucking ring already you jackass

i wouldn't have stood there with my hand on my hip whining "stahhhhhhp" that's for goddamn sure lmfao when someone is beating your coworker, if not friend, to death right in front of your eyes are you just gonna cry "someone helpppppp" like your cats in a fucking tree? he hit him 30 fucking times.

you don't think it's reasonable to ask "hey could someone (maybe the literal referee standing 10 inches away whose job in actuality AND kayfabe is to ensure things go smoothly and intervene when they don't) intervene after the 10th punch on the unconscious talent instead of the 30th?"

that two-bit ian rotten-ass podunk promotion can go fuck itself and i hope stu sues them bankrupt.

Yes, there was one tiny ass little referee in there who was obviously terrified of the giant enraged black man violently and brutally trying to beat a man to death right there in front of him and he froze in that moment(which is the exact same thing you woulda done, lets be honest here, hero) but youre trying to extend that failure to act by the referee as a failure of everyone in that building and that is just not true

People leapt into action immediately when they realized what was happening and got to the ring as soon as they could, that is a fact

I saw the slam & G&P on social media and thought 'Woah, that guy must have disrespected the black dude and this was revenge.'

And I saw this video by DarkHorseMMA, which I'm guessing gives all needed information regarding the lead-up to the slam and the aftermath.

My take - This was extremely stupid on both sides. Rampage's son won't be charged and arrested because it would have happened by now... Unless the local DA hasn't reviewed the footage since it's still the weekend.

Remember : Its not enough for someone to commit a crime to be charged with a crime, the local DA has to want to press charges and go through with the prosecution & trial. In many cases the DA either doesn't want to pursue a case because they know the defendant has many forms of argument that would lead to reasonable doubt in the eyes of twelve stupid people that couldn't get out of jury duty.

It seems you can’t separate Rampage and his son Raja. Hoping a fighter goes broke and having no fan based on what? On what his son did?

Yes on what his son did.
Now it seems your projecting, Quinton Jackson didnt fail as a fighter and his fame is based off the entertainment he put over the years in fighting.

If you beat someone to almost death for no reason that is a failure
Now we’re getting somewhere, as a father especially to this child, the constant bullying, demeaning of his son definitely contributed to the act of violence Raja did against that wrestler, theres some deep rooted trauma there

Bad excuse. He should never feel the need to slam someone in their head and punch their unconscious body 20x. If that's who you are, too dangerous for city. Go to jail.
A lot of people on the planet dont know what they’re doing with their lives in terms of career until late 20’s, if you’re talking about controlling impulses and emotions thats a lifetime if never.

Obviously that's what I meant. It's not an impulae it's a decision. He waited an hour and talked how he will do this. It's recorded.
Who knows, it was a savage display of aggression and violence, he’ll get something heavy but I don’t know if premeditated attempted murder might be a stretch.
powerbombing a old man right on his head and whaling 20 power shots on his face not stopping till you get broken up from him. He almost did kill him. The man was in a coma. He is not doing good as we speak. Filthy.

it seems you cant differentiate Rampage & Raja, Rampage failed as a father, but your post cant separate them apart, it seems you want them both to go to jail, when one of them has a high possibility will be.
Not american. They both actually need to hide their head in shame and disapear from the spotlight. I meant Raja first. No Raja goes to jail for this not Quinton.

The guy who brought up the idea of raja doing a wrestling angle has to take alot of blame too. The language he used was basically like it was ok to really hurt him, go ahead.

He never said hey you know do a takedown on him or something. How the fuck raja gonna use working punches on a guy when he don't know how to work???

All of them guys are a bunch of assholes tbh, but I will say that at least Stu did try to diffuse the situation and apologize after he stupidly and probably drunkenly hit Raja with the can of beer

Apparently Raha had gotten a concussion a few days earlier. His brain wasn't thinking 100% clearly, the concussion had him all emotional. Woops.

Looking at the Instagram comments on the videos relating to this, seems like 50% of people in the comments are saying that Raja’s actions were completely justified.

Society is truly terrifying, we are surrounded by ignorant monsters.

All the more reason to train martial arts, striking and grappling, it’s so important to be able to defend yourself.

And that's gonna be his defense in court. "Oh your honor, my client is clearly not a professional wrestler and wasn't sure what to do, and he was bonked on the head a few days prior, so unloading 22 unanswered strikes to an unconscious body is completely normal behavior."

I mean it's probably the same people who egged him on to do it in the first place

Update from Stu's brother. He's in critical care. It's pretty alarming seeing how many people who think beating someone nearly to death is justified if you get hit by a can.

Well he hasn’t fought in two years and the only place he’s fought since the outburst was Florida who will license literally anyone.
yes. its still crazy. that even florida allowed that to me when i first heard about it. also he doesnt just fight. like he has a whole training camp and support system behind it. he stabbed the crap out of his sisters. it wasnt a couple cuts or pokes sleep walking. Its also not really to bring judgement toward him saying this. it is just to highlight that the way fighting is regulated seems problematic when it comes to stuff like this. if that can happen to your brain being allowed to continue to get paid to take brain damage seems off. i guess then youd want to maybe apply that to all fighting though and realize its actual impact on society is generally negative.

One last thing -
Raja, or Rampage, should realize how damn close he was to killing a man.

He's a young kid fueled by emotion and adrenaline. That combination made him lose control and the result would have been a 3rd degree murder charge if the EMTs failed to get that wrestler's heart beating again.

Defining Third-Degree Murder

Third-degree murder is a classification of homicide used in a limited number of states, including Florida, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania. This charge typically applies to killings committed without premeditation or a specific intent to cause death. Instead, it often involves a reckless disregard for human life or occurs during the commission of certain felonies.

Raja would have been 100% guilty of that, but chances are the DA would have offered a manslaughter plea.

Hopefully this incident will have Raja realize he needs to control his anger, because it may have cost him years of his life in prison.

is it possible for rampage to pay the guy to not press charges? or could charges be pressed regardless of whether the wrestler wants to or not?
