Rambo: Last Blood

Bugger, I was meant to have an early night, but Rambo is just starting on channel 32.

The speed up frames I personally remember always I thought were from Max's perspective where he's seeing ghosts and shit?

Not just there. Just check out the fight he has with Theron. Lots of it going on there.

This one? I guess I kind of see it but isn't there a theme that goes through all the Mad Max films where the dude is legit fucking nuts and each film plays off that in a different way?

Not really, I don't think. Not in terms of speeding up time or anything. Like look at it when she's trying to hit him, and he's backing away and blocking her with the car door. It goes from like 25fps, to 100fps, and looks like it's in fast forward.

It's not really a big deal or anything. It's just a personal gripe. It's just a technique they used to make the action a little more frantic and high impact. I just personally thought it looked a little cheap and when they used it for the hand to hand stuff.

I don't see how it can beat Rambo 4, but I'll give it a chance.

Deb was pretty terrible
All the female characters were written badly.

As far as the worst, i hated rita because she was what kept dex at bay, which i didnt like. Then she brought her shitty kids with the deal and that too is a drag. But i was ok with it at first becuase he didnt 'understand' the desire for sex. Then he fucks her and abolishes it all.

Thank god for trinity.

That director used it in his other mad max movies. One moment i remember is when that ugly kid throws the boomerang...or catches it. Its sped up.

He joins the bloods and goes to war with the crips?

I don’t recall them showing how those guys got into the States. I only remember Rambo cutting a barb-wire fence and driving his truck through.

Keep it in mind if you see it again. They clearly show them going down a tunnel in Mexico and then coming out another tunnel Stateside.

That said, almost everyone who actually works in border enforcement on a daily basis has argued for a wall.

And if you don’t think walls work, do some research on Israel, South Korea, and Hungary.

Two of those examples are orders of magnitude smaller situations. And the other one is one of the most heavily militarized stretches of land in the world.

So I just got back from it...

LOL at RottenTomatoCans!

Movie was Fan-fucking-tastic! Action, gore, some emotional scenes and MORE GORE. There was a part in this film where if you replaced the enemies with college students, it's literally a slasher. So much fun! I think I'm watching it again tomorrow and since it's under 90 minutes, I'm so down.

8-8.5/10

Feels like I have seen this movie before.

Rambo: Man of Fire
Rambo: Rambo Leon The Professional
Rambo: Taken
Rambo: Transporter 2
Rambo: The Bodyguard
Rambo: The Equalizer
