I would say "Above the Law" is Seagal's second best film after Under Siege. It was his breakout film and is highly regarded as a martial arts/action classic. Are you questioning that one as a choice as one of his best?Above the Law (Seagal?) and Kickboxer as better made and executed action films than Rambo 3...
I say no. And like I said, if you took Rambo 3 out of the Rambo universe and instead it was a JCVD action film with a new character, it would be one of his best performances of that time period and one of his best movies.
Maybe you meant Nowhere to Run, in which case I say the same thing.
Agree to disagree on that.Rambo 3 is the least invested Stallone ever was in the Rambo character, but it was still far better than the average 80s/90s JCVD performance.
If Rambo 3 with its level of quality were instead a JCVD movie, I think people would easily list it among JCVD's classics.
