I've been without ID several times in my adult life, primarily when I haven't needed to drive. Some times even when I drive.

Losing your wallet is a huge pain in the ass. There was a time when I was working in an office making quite a bit of money and I lost my wallet, I didn't bother getting a new license until I needed to renew it almost two years later. I continued driving figuring if I was pulled over I'd just pay the fine.

When I was in college I didn't have a car.

Sitting around waiting to kill someone isn't what makes or breaks a hate crime charge. His own family says he's racist, so I'm not really sure what is leading you to believe the DA is bullshitting with the hate crime charge.

I have made no claim, one way or the other, but the grandson did a great job of rattling off the generic "racism" garbage that he obviously got from Fox's competitors over at MSNBC and CNN. "Grandpa watches Fox, he's racist."

I simply pointed out that there would be no repercussion if the DA was falsifying or trumping up the charges and I've yet to see evidence that this guy was in fact a racist. If you have anything, please share.

Do you think the grandson is lying?
Do you think the DA has no evidence of a hate crime yet slapped a charge on that won't stick?

And DAs are accountable to their voters and by proxy police unions.

I think the grandson is a jackass. Why is grandpa racist " well he's a traditional, stock Christian American and watches fox news."

I don't know what the DA has until they release it so will wait and see. If they presents evidence that supports, great, if it's more of the "he's old, white and watches fox" then not so much. We shall see.

Dude's 80, of course he is a little looney. Hell we have a president his age that doesn't even know where he is half the time lol. And of course now that the grandson is older and has been inundated with how old white people are just inherently racist, he now thinks grandpa is racist. Dude looks like Shaun White 2.0. Everyone in the family probably hates this kid.

Plenty of 80 years who aren't looney. Believing there was vast election fraud is undeniably looney regardless of age.
