It seems like? Let's wait for some evidence first. Maybe this guy donated time and money to black causes, or maybe he was a member of his local KKK chapter, what role race played remains to be determined. What seems clear is that this was not a justifiable shooting.

I respect his boxing knowledge but as a poster with a few dozen posts under my belt first entering the boxing forum, he was accusing me of being a GGG fan boy, and a newbie or troll account. He's probably a good guy in real life but I think on Sherdog he has delusions of grandeur and is quick to be a gruff know it all asshole to people he disagrees with.

And I must say my points in that whole original Canelo-GGG mandatory fiasco were pretty spot on. From Canelo ducking the fight, to let GGG age out a bit, to his moving back down in weight to fight Smith instead of taking the fight.

It was a big difference to me as a new member compared to a guy like @HockeyBjj welcoming me to the boxing forum and asking if I was also a hockey fan because of my old AV. He's free to act like a know it all @Seano the Grouch but then shouldn't complain when people have the perception he's an asshole.

Is there any evidence so far of senility or other mental deficiencies? At any rate, yes these are individual cases, but at a certain point they become systemic issues.

You'll get no disagreements for me on the need for new blood. The only reason I oppose age limits is because I view them as undemocratic, same as term limits. But that's a tough thing when rubber meets the road.

Are you arguing for a world where race or personal details don't factor into public reaction and thus media coverage? For example, if this was a missing persons case, I assure you the white lady gets way more coverage than a black teen male.

I don't really see what your argument is. You want the white women who got killed to get more coverage than this case? Less? Equal? At any rate, I'd bet this case has led to increased coverage of the NY case. There's so many variables that go into, such as this case happening in a much bigger media market.

Well… one case was a hate crime and the other was an old dinosaur that shot a kid. It looks like attempted murder but there is no reason for us to believe this is race related. Likely he would have shot any teen pounding on the door late night. Sadly this will be spun to fit a false narrative, the grifters are out in full force.

It’s why Daniel Shaver who was brutally murdered by cops in the most one sided murdered-by-cop incident ever caught on video is largely unknown while George Floyd has statues and was made a demigod.
