News Rakič is "not interested" in fighting with Procházka

I think Jan vs Rakic will be announced soon. Even with the coasting last time. Unless they want to give Santos the next shot even with the Glover fight falling through. Got a feeling they go with the young guy who's peaking.

Need to keep up on the news. Glover/Santos is the main event for Nov 7th. Dana has publicly stated the winner of that gets the next titleshot.

Rakic doesn't have enough leverage at the moment to decline this fight.
Had he finished Smith in a devastating fashion, it woulda been a different story.
Jiri is probably the most difficult road to the title (santos needs to beat 40-year old glover), but it might be the only one available for Rakic.
Jiri will probably surpass rakic on the way to the title shot.

I've always said if a fighters union/ association came about it'd need to put a stop to this kind of fight dodging. It's nonsensical, and there is no reason behind it.
 
As much as I'd like to see it this fight at the moment does seem a little early, two guys who seem like they could be champions fighting before their popularity has peaked.

Are you sure? Cuz they sparred few years ago, and by what i heard Denisa totally destroyed Alexandr during this sparring session...So i guess thats real reason why he declined this fight.

is this true were did you hear it i know jiri has trained with gust and manuwa cuz there is photos of it in his instagram and i know rakic sparred with manuwa too but i ve never heard of them sparred each other but i d favor jiri anyday over rakic i also read some coment here from some guy who said jiri sparred with jon jones and there was fireworks amazing but i don t know if is true either
