I didnt suggest anything...what he did was boring, period, and im not saying dominating someone on the ground is in fact boring 100% of the times, there is a difference, even while i never was a Khabib fan he was never boring, GnP isnt boring, LnP (600 strikes that didnt do shit) is boring.

Dominating for 25 minutes and still nothing to show for was boring, i think DDP was closer on a sub, LOL.

You clearly must not have watched Khabib pre Michael Johnson. His early fights in the UFC looked a lot like last night. The fact is, DDP was the champ, beat everyone he faced, he got dominated but was good enough to mitigate damage to a large degree. I found it incredibly high level, and I’m not so absurd as to act as if Chimaev was trying to be boring. DDP has bad TDD but is a great grappler. Period. That’s why this fight looked like it did. He also played pure defense - nearly impossible to finish an elite fighter who is dead set on playing nothing but defense. ESPECIALLY in grappling. Anyone who’s trained knows this.

If Khamzat is ragdolling the MW champ then I'm not sure #3 WW contender is going to be a great matchup

I'd be interested to see him fight RDR but if that's another shut-out then going up to LHW for a Fat Khamzat arc might be more entertaining

Go watch Bum Fights if you don’t like grappling lol. Not every fight is gonna be a finish.

There are plenty of fights that went the distance that were great. This was definitely not one of them. I appreciate grappling, but even i have my limits.

As for the thread topic, i think Khamzat would easily beat Shavkat as it stands right now.
