Multiplat RAINBOW SIX SIEGE

Got my first Bandit battery kill tonight. In the basement of Clubhouse I could hear someone in blue against the church wall so I threw down a Bandit charge and got em.

Neon Dawn drops tomorrow fellas!

Icycat25's charm, the 3rd one, drops on the 15th and will cost 1 renown

That new operator is going to piss me right the fuck off.

I tried playing earlier and got the typical first week bullshit. Non intentional team killed 4 times in the first 3 matches by dumb asses, people screaming into mics just to be idiots, blatant hackers, etc. I'm out for the first week or so.

Is it also a free weekend? Holy shit.

Just picked this game up for $10 on PSN and it comes with the PS5 upgrade. The triggers are really fun to use but I could see how they could get annoying if you’re trying to level up in ranked. That said, the game is pretty fun but is pretty confusing to new players. So many operators and knowing what each one is supposed to do is a bit intense. Really fun so far though.

On defense for first time players I would suggest Mute, Jager, or Kapkan. Their gadget you just kind of set and forget and as you play more you learn more about where the ideal spots to put them are.

On attack... as much as @jefferz will hate me saying this I would lean Ash, Sledge, or Thermite. All have really easy to use primaries, decent to good secondary weapons, and super simple gadgets.

And Ubisoft has me fucking mega levels of gotten to.

Patch notes say that rooftop hatches will now be automatically re-inforced. Games I played last night determined that was a fucking lie.

Wow that's a pretty big change. I forget which map it is but I always go through the rooftop hatch. It's the map with cash, Gym, and garage areas.

Just remember this isn’t COD, you don’t go flying around like a monkey pew pewing everyone.
Learn the maps and what rooms are called, communicate with your team mates, learn what operators work with each other, and use a headset. Sound is very important. Info is the biggest thing in this game.

Clubhouse. The roof hatch is above the little office space that is near CCTV and shit.

I always attack from the hatch on Kafe so that presents an issue to me as well whenever they decide to implement that change.

Did digging online and it looks like that's something they will play with on the test servers. I hope they don't implement it. Defense already has a pretty large advantage, especially on some sites compared to attackers and not being able to re-inforce roof hatches for top floor sites feels like a good trade off.

@SwamiLeoni

RussianBadger is a total "shitter" and all around goofball but he hits it pretty good in this vid:

"KBG OPEN UP!"

EDIT:
There's been a number of changes since Badger made that vid but the basics still hold up.

It's been on the test servers for awhile now. If they do implement it, Hibana pick rates are going to go up substantially. I don't know if they fixed it, but on TTS Oryx can jump roof hatches and get on the roof.

@TheJewBear is your name a play on Boston BearJew?

Oryx legit cause me to almost jump out of my skin a couple nights ago.

Was playing on Oregon as I think Zofia or Ash so I was kind of free wheeling it a bit. I snuck in through the like side door on the front of the building near server room, killed a guy in white stairs then moved down and towards the front entrance and up the main stairs. Domed another guy in there and then had people constantly throwing like impacts in my general direction and then Oryx comes over the stairs and charges me, knocking me on my ass and I almost screamed like a child it scared me.

Case in point. I got MVP two nights ago running Ela and Valk on defense just with camera and grizmot placements and being a "pick" roamer basically just putting shots into guys and then running away. Got lots of injure and kill assists and my cams as Valk got me a ton of points.

Thanks for the tips and tricks guys, I appreciate it. I realized that it’s not COD my first run though. The aim down sight speed is something I’ll need to get used to. It feels so slow. I do like the tilting angles and the way you can position yourself for kills is pretty awesome. I was sniped from some pretty tricky spots.
