Rahkmonov kinda sucked

He took Neal’s best shots and still moved forward and finished him. Neal is no slouch. This fight showed me more about Shavkat. Dude’s durable and he’s got a chin. He’s trouble for WW like we all thought.
No heis not and this version of him will get kp'd....use your eyes guys.

he looked better against neal than khamzat did against burns.
I am not even trying to compare Khamzat and Shakhvat, but if Neal had 50% of the drive Burns has, it would be a more difficult fight for Shakhvat, a much more difficult fight.

But it was very similar. Undefeated juggernaut suddenly looks human. I'm sorts glad Zhat goes to MW because I see both as champs 23/24. Of course Bo Nikal will be coming. (who can probably make 170 (Maybe)).

He could've not been hit at all, and that's the only thing that would've made this cat happy sir lol.

I'm with poster. If you're going to sit here and act like the dude didn't get hit clean so many times with chin in the air, I don't know what to say lol

Kp'd?

Knighted and praised?
ko'd but thanks for the laugh.....duse has lots of holes in his stand up and his wrestling failed to impress.....he is not that good....reminds me of Yan

if Im being honest

He fought like bizarro superman lets be honest here Probsbly a lot to do with the raised bar in competition but whatever you want to say hes got some work ahead of him
Namely someone in his camp needs to tell him its not a good thing to get hit in the head so much. Neal landed CLEAN each round. He wasnt the man to take advantage of theae free throws but someday he wont be able to rely on this wheat plowing strategy of his. The other stuff wss ok but was certainly overshadowed by the mumber of times he got drilled but in awkward positioms too like as hes throwing.

Hes hyped

What is with this card?? I haven't seen SO MANY bad takes come out of 1 card. Ya'll need to go watch slap fighting.

this is a very true statement....like I said reminds me of Yan ....I don't think he's that great either...at least not for the hype he's getting

It happens to most former world champions. Does not make them "not that good" whatever the fuck that means. You can point to any fighter's losses and make the same inconsequential half assed implications.

This fight was very similar to Khamzat versus Burns.
Both Khamzat & Schavkhat thought very undisciplined and were still able to get the win over very tough opponents. I will say that I was a little bit underwhelmed by his level change style takedowns, however I feel like if he can dial back the chaos a little bit he will still be trouble for any of the top guys.

I never said he was not a good fighter ...just not a great fighter....and defininatly not worth the hype....name a great fighter that was still in his prime ....lose 3 out 4 fights and still considered great .....not good ....great ......I'll wait....

if bo is going to be champ, it’s gonna more than a few years from now. he’s still a very raw fighter

Yeah, sucked so hard and so much that he won...

I'm not saying he fought the smartest or slickest fight ever, but his style will hold up as long as his chin/body does. So... gonna be a fun ride.

I don't understand how this has achieved like 10 pages of discussion - he blatantly did not suck.

Stepping up in competition is supposed to reveal where a fighter needs to improve, and no doubt there are things he does need to improve but he also demonstrated an awesome chin and cardio and killer instinct which lasted all the way through some testing phases.

I am really excited to see what he can do in his next fight and where he goes from here.

Threads like these really do an effective job filtering out the low IQ pinheads on this forum.

Wait for what?

For him to win and defend the belt? Or?

Does it matter if some confused forum member think he's not that good if they can become champion?

This bald beta Dana White hates sigma Shavkat Rakhmonov. He gave him only 1 fight in 2021, 2 in 2022, gives no time in embedded, didn't allow to fight Barberena in January, didn't made this fight in january main event. And now he even gave Neal a 50k which he took away from Shavkat. Also if we consider all robberies of Zhalgas Zhumagulov, can we say that Dana White hates Kazakhs?

I never judge a whole career based on a single fight.

Mma is such a weird and unpredictable sport.

Just one bad day at the office can be devastating to a fighter’s career. Not feeling well. An injury.. Whatever.

Let’s see his next fight before we bury him.

Right? Watch Alex Pereira against Bruno Silva and tell me if that looks like a future champion. Absolutely not.

A single fight doesn't have to make or break someone's career if they learn and make adjustments from it.
