Economy "Radical" Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

One good thing about all this is that Mitt Romney is going to be forced to condemn everyone who says anything controversial or uses profanity. And look like a self-righteous prig each time.

Lol at people actually liking her crazy ideas she’s Sarah Palin 2.0. The country economics is way different then when they were taxed that high. Do all the research and variables about them and now present those stats. Don’t throw a wrench in the engine crazy lady.

I would be interested to see how you think these variables and research would support your position. Imo it hardly makes AOC a Palin, as it’s quite possible that those tax rates simply kept inequality down in the first place. Which is why the same tax bracket (in real terms adjusted for inflation) would capture a ton more $ today than in the past.

As an aside I don’t think “tax the rich” is some sort of cure all. At some point, capital will leave and / or incentives will be impacted. But given the history of inequality and growth in top pay, and who is getting it, I find it hard to believe that increases in upper tier taxation in the USA right would be a net negative right now. There of course will be debate over “how much/ how high” this should go.

I also think AOC is no Palin. She is smart for a 29 year old and will get better with age (lol in some ways). But let’s be real, 29 y/o junior congressman who is getting way more attention that she deserves and says some dumb stuff vs. governor / VP candidate who obviously has never opened a book before and is not remotely interested in knowledge.

I had to walk 5 miles to school, with holes in my sneakers, and it was uphill both ways. These whippersnappers need to toughen up and get with the program. :p

Luxury..........

We used to wake up half an before we end to bed, where we would eat a mouthful of hot coal, clean the road with our tongues, and when we got home our father we murder us all and dance in our graves.

Kids these days......

While I'd love to bring home 5 mill a year I'm not sure a lot of folks would be fine with paying 45 mill in taxes . . . personally, I'd find a way to buy a bunch of things that qualified as write-offs or deductions to cut that part down as much as possible.

Someone wrote an article recently about capping wealth at 500mil and I totally agree with you that. There's no reason why any one person should own more than that in assets. This is kind of similar, but not the same. I think people would be pissed but 5 mil is a shitton of money

She graduated cum laude from Boston College.

She's much, much smarter than you. The problem is that you're too stupid to realize that you're stupid.
You offer nothing here. Your posts are completely empty, just like Ocasio-Cortez' brain. :D

It is irony that you would call others "stupid."

Heck if I know what she'd score . . . if within the normal range = retarded then we're all screwed because we're surrounded by retards.
You might be. lol Maybe that is the "normal range" for you and the company you keep.

You sound really stupid lol

She is probably at least 10 iq points higher than you.

Again, you think a person who graduated cum laude from a top 50 school is not only dumber than you, an idiot, but dumber than the median American citizen. Your opinion is so facially stupid that it wasn't even necessary for me to call it out. But working with the mentally challenged is a part of my own quest for personal betterment.

Also, it's not ironic at all that you don't know the word "ironic." It's expected.

I’m not even from this country and I know the 3 branches of government trots...

You talking about working with mentally challenged for your betterment gave me a good chuckle, thanks bro

This is what radical left-wing college professors do. They advance impressionable young people who will promote the agendas they like. There was a kid who was accepted to an ivy league school after writing the same word on his essay the same number of times that was required to satifsy the word count on the essay (coincidentally he was a minority). These are the kind of people they want to advance in our society. They want people they can mold into Marxist drones.

You want to talk about obvious? Ocasio-Cortez has repeatedly shown her lack of cognition in the media. It's supposed to go without saying...

She said the three chambers (or some ill-fitting term) of government and was clearly talking about the three elected offices of federal government: House, Senate, and POTUS. Pretty sad that people tried to key in on that innocuous statement as if she didn't know what the judiciary is.

Hmm that’s not how I took her comment at all, but she seems very educated, very informed.....

What other way is there to take it?

She said "we can take back all three chambers of government: the House, Senate, and the Presidency." (Paraphrasing obviously)
