What little we know about the perpetrators (five suspects are currently in custody) suggests this was not linked to any organized crime groups or islamic terrorist groups. It seems more like a bunch of arab randos got into their heads to shoot Momika, maybe even in a spur of the moment. The group varies in age between 60 and 20, some of them were wearing wife beaters and shorts and flip-flops (indoor attire, not something you'd wear for a premeditated hit) at the time of arrest, none had priors, et cetera. But that would suggest that even arab randos casually carry around guns in Sweden. Which... okay....

Probably, though not guaranteed. Södertälje is a distinctly christian syrian town, and the part of town where this happened is about 90 percent christian syrian. It is a part of town where you'll hear reports from time to time of muslims being actively harrassed. So the likelihood of there being a bunch of muslims living close to Momika is relatively low. So chances are this was either muslims coming from some distance away, or it was a christian syrian who simply did not like Momika anyway. Or was paid to do the hit.
