The Word or phrase of the year for 2022 for Oxford dictionary is "Goblin mode" which I didn't know was a thing but need to start using in my repertoire more often.I think it's the oxford English dictionary that's always been number 1.
Which one of these did Oxford go with? The Word or phrase of the year for 2022 for Oxford dictionary is "Goblin mode" which I didn't know was a thing but need to start using in my repertoire more often.
I just responded to a satirical post with another one. what's there to be confused about my sherbro?Did Costa get a title shot after 1 win in the UFC? I'm confused
If you were a promoter/matchmaker and there's a guy on your roster who's been through all this:
- Suspended six months by USADA for IV therapy after the weigh-ins against Bamgbose and Hendricks
- Comes back and gets rewarded with a title fight, but fails miserably against the champ he didn't take as a threat
- Disappears for a year, then misses the weight by 25 lbs in the return, forcing the opponent to accept a LHW bout. Loses the fight and says it's because of drinking wine the night prior
- Somehow gets another chance at MW against a washed-up Rockhold who's been away for 3 years (after getting KO'd in 3 out of the last 4 bouts). Goes the distance and looks kinda bad
- Still rewarded with a top name despite everything, but for the second time he ducks Robert Whittaker and openly comes with special demands instead. Later calls out Nick Diaz who's had one single fight in the last 8 years
What would be the fair thing to do in a scenario like this one?
I would fire him, but because I know you are talking about Handsome Chad Paulo Costa, I will give him the biggest salary more than any fighter.

I know brother. I'm just playing along cause I don't want to bother educating sherbros here who will never bother educating themselves before speaking.Paulo Cost wants to be fired. His expiration date on his contract is for March, he never agreed to fighting Robert Whittaker or anyone else unless the UFC and him would come to an agreement on pay and even then he was adamant about not getting trapped into another 6 or 8 fight contract similar to how N'Gannou offered to resign for a 3 fight deal but not an 8 fight one. These guys want to test free agency, Pettis makes 750k in the PFL, Mighty Mouse makes 500k in OneFC and places like the KSW and ACA offer fighters more to stay than the UFC is willing to pay to sign them as it is.
So the UFC scheduled the fight vs Rob, Costas hardest possible matchup in the division thinking 1. If he loses he will lower his brand before free agency and 2. If he refuses to accept it they will smear his name and say he was afraid despite it being made clear Costa would not fight for such little money, he knows his contract expires due to the sunset clause in March so he decided to sit out unless they want to get serious with offers and he doesn't want a 8 fight contract. UFC manipulates their fighters and forces them into 8 fight or 5 year contracts so they won't leave and aggressively tries to resign them before the contract is up so they can't test free agency where if they don't agree...they'll give them bad matchups, force them to sit out, talk shit and lie about you etc.
Anyways the UFC is more the bad employer here than Costa is the bad "independent contractor".

You have good taste in anime, everytime I see something FMAB related I am tempted to rewatch all over again.
