question about training mized with cardio

    hey guys-
    i have a steady routine of 6 days of lifting. i have been doing it and i love the results. i want to incorporate cardio into my routine (i was thinking 3 days) but i have a friend who is telling me that because of the excessive lifiting that the cardio will do no good for weight loss. my main goal being weight loss and muscle gain.

    i do chest shoulder triceps on mon-wed-fri
    then back leg bicep on tues-thurs-sat
    i also throw in abs at the end of my routine everyday

    as for cardio i do interval training on the elliptical for about 20-30 min. and i normally do this on tues-thurs-sat. and i got the diet thing down (5 meals a day)

    i dont want to change my weightlifting routine but i will if the cardio is ineffective. HELP ME OUT GUYS!

    3 things you could do,

    at the end of the day or the beginning you could add sets of burpies, jumprope, or bear complex. if your goals are just lifting strength the i would suggest the bear complex.
