I saw this and out of curiosity, looked up whether or not we have any foreign military bases on US soil.

We do not, but several of our military bases host members of foreign militaries for training purposes. None of them have their own facilities, though, that seems to be a first.

Why are we doing it for Qatar specifically? Probably because they gave Donald Trump a custom fucking private jet that he is going to continue using in three years when he is no longer president.
