I have been following this thread quite a while and it's awesome. It made me wanna go to Thailand even more.
My question is:
How is muslim middle-eastern looking people threated in Thailand?
-Taking in consideration the tensions in the south.
What do you guys mean by "cab driver?"
Thanks
It's their way of saying that the fighter is a complete nobody in a fighting context.
it means they are part time fighters with little talent or training.
the farang fighters spend months in camp preparing for a fight in thailand, the thai fighters they are matched against are working hard to earn enough money to eat, driving cabs is an example,no time to train.
the farang gets to go home and brag about whipping a thai fighter, the thai gets a little money and everyone is happy.
MBK, Siam Paragon, Central World, street vendors, etc... they're all over Bangkok. Noticed way more on my last trip than ever before.
Payak your answers in this thread are very valuable, thanks. What's the name of the camp you stay in?mbk mall is packed with muslims, always have arabs out our camp, good guys.
Much appreciated for all your answers. I have thought of staying, training and travel in the north-Chaing Mai, in Bangkok -gym? and in Phuket-gym?.
Do I as a muslim/middle east looking guy be specially aware of some topics in these areas?
Payak your answers in this thread are very valuable, thanks. What's the name of the camp you stay in?
Keatkhamtorn in Bangkok is especially Muslim friendly too, as well as being a generally great camp. They have many fighters from the South of Thailand.
It probably means he drives a cab for a living.
God i so wanna go to Patong boxing gym....
The location seems nice with little pollution, with a more low-key nightlife nearby if i feel like it, and less people with good trainers.
Anyone else been there? Seems perfect for me.
Either that or Kiatphontip so i can meet Rob. I think the location and stuff is similar, away from the city etc.
