What kind of ding-dong brings their XBox 360 to Thailand? Go to a temple or the beach or something. Go outside and explore.

haha, i f*ckin hate video games! but im an insomniac... the only time i would be on it is at 3 in the morning when i cant sleep. besides that i have energy 24/7, video games would be the last thing to get in the way of my training, i would be more concerned with my need to explore getting in the way

Pay sea gypsy to take you to one of the islands for the day and chill on your own beach!

awsome, i have been trying to add to my list of things to do and that would be really cool.

as of right now i know there is the wat chalong temple close by, the bang pae waterfall and also a gibbon rescue center, if im not training i will spend very little time at tiger mt

Wat Chalong makes for a great visit, you may also want to check out the Big Buddha nearby, its amazing.

There's a lot to do and you have plenty of time to do it so that you can train and sight-see. If you ever have a lack of energy just get some Redbull. Haha.

^ yeah im sure i will go see it, and no need for red bull, haha. im not one to sit still in the first place and if im in another country i imagine i will see everything there is man. any other things i might want to see you might think of feel free to let me know

Wat Chalong is nice, but it'll take you maybe an hour tops.

Also, fuck Red Bull; give me some M150.

you will sleep after you train no problem, and if you have excess energy go visit some of the local ladies.

Oh, and I highly recommend eating at the Shanti Lodge, which is maybe five minutes down the road from Tiger (towards Rawai). Awesome, awesome food.

Has anyone ever trained at Por Purmak? I'm flying into Bangkok June 26th and staying till July 26th. Thinking of checking out 3 gyms while i'm there. I'm thinking about checking out one place in Pattaya, one in Bangkok and then Por Purmak(hopefully Buakaw will be training while i'm there). Thanks, thinking about Scorpion in Pattaya and haven't decided on which gym in Bangkok yet......
Any idea on how far it would take to get to Buakaw's gym from Bangkok?

he trains in 13 coins, its in the 13 coins hotel carpark in bangkok.
someone correct me if i'm wrong.
to guys looking to stay outside the camps, you can find descent rooms in hotels for $6 US a night.
i rented an apartment for 1500 BHT a month, most people would not like it but it was ok.

So Buakaw doesn't even train at Por Pramuk? Huh
I was hoping to train next to him for a few days......

One of my friends was at Por Pramuk for a while and he said Buakaw was there for a while. I think he goes there several times a year. You may want to ask a Thai local once you get to Bangkok to make a phone call to them and ask if Buakaw is there...if you don't have any friends just pay a taxi driver or something.

sorry my mistake, i'm half asleep.
saenchai trains at 13 coins.

por pramuk is about 100 ks from bangkok in chacherngsao.
there is a shuttle from the airport for 2000bht.

What kind of supplements if any should one bring?

I wouldn't bother with any of them. Just eat properly.

Maybe take some probiotics for a few weeks before you leave in order to get some good bacteria in your system.

Has anyone ever trained at Kobra Muay Thai in Koh Phangen? Looks beautiful and it seems like you can train all day and relax by the beach all night. I'm thinking about training in Bangkok Saturday then taking the train to Koh Phangen and then taking the ferry to Koh Phangen. Thanks also I heard that Por Pramuk can really smell with the pig farm next to it, has anyone ever trained there before and noticed that?
