I know I'm a grumpy old guy who hates everything...but it really isn't just me being grumpy. Considering how big the roster is, and how there's supposedly more "talent,' than ever in it...there's really not that much that jumps out at you and says "yeah...that's a fucking superstar right there!"

Agreed.

A couple of things spring go mind.

1) Wrestlers are more sportsmen now. They are educated, come from athletic backgrounds and generally act all good and nice. It's a far cry from 80s wrestling where half of them were ex-bouncers, bounty hunters, debt collectors etc, and were partying wildly whilst taking all sorts of shit.
2) I'm getting old, and I cannot look up at another human being and see them as a superhero anymore.

Yeah I like the cheesecake bites as well. They pair well with graham cracker flavored froyo.

It's like what Cornette said, before, the people who didn't like wrestling were saying "Wrestling is just silly, fake bullshit". Now, it's the people in the ring. So, not only are the people in the ring perpetuating "silly, fake bullshit", but it's not the "silly, fake bullshit" that even all that entertaining.

Stone Cold Steve Austin driving a beer truck into the arena and spraying beer all over the boss is fake, but god damn was it amazing to watch. Compare that to Kenny Omega. Well, one guy is a pissed off redneck raising hell, the other is a stage school graduate putting on a perfomance. I keep coming back to it, but the showdown between Omega and Moxley, where Omega pulls out a barbed wire broom, I didn't come out of that thinking "Shit, these guys are gonna fight", I came out thinking "Kenny Omega is fucking awful".

6 on each show? Man...with the way they've booked people that's tough. I could get 10 total from all 3 shows maybe...and that's probably a stretch.

That'd be my top 10 guys...not enough for a main event on three shows and some are in there because they fill the role of elder statesmen to help guide and legitimize the younger ones. Then again...I wouldn't try and have 3 main event scenes if I was them so I wouldn't need much more than that.
