Damn, I think you might be right.

The two biggest things, in my opinion of course, that have made the Marvel movies better and more enjoyable to rewatch are:

1) They had a plan, stuck to it, and didn't rush things. Every movie leads into the next, or has a callback to an earlier one. Fully interconnected.

DC has felt rushed and thrown together from the beginning.

2) They got the mix right between action/humor/storyline.

The plots are fairly generic, but they keep the movies going and fill in with some good action and plenty of hilarious moments.

Even Black Panther, probably the best storyline, had plenty of appropriate humor mixed in.

DC is either dark and gritty, or forces the humor (especially using guys like Superman and Batman as the comedy. Neither fits the character).

And the use of the 300 style slowmo during fight scenes fucking sucks and detracts from them.
