They definitely bought into the hype of their Long Beach cards selling out so fast and made them believe the name NJPW was all they needed to put butts in seats
I think the combo of this no longer being "once in a lifetime"(with the past Long Beach shows and the Daytona show in July) and All In being the hot thing in the indies right now has really hurt the live gate of this show

Agreed. Porn was not as easily accessible at that time. As a young teen, you looked for whatever material you could use at the time. So Attitude Era divas got a lot of spank time for me. Sable and Sunny got a lot of use. As I’ve gotten older and the more I know about them, they are both horrible people(especially Sunny) but dammit if I wasn’t hoping that Sables giant fake boltons wouldn’t pop out of her top all the time.
