Little problem though, Meltzer never actually said any of that. What he replied to was an attack of his five star review of the Shawn Razor ladder match. The person claimed that Owen/Bret, on the same show, that got 4.75 is a lot better (Meltz has always been wrong on this point but I digress) to modern eyes.

Meltzer then replied that he isn't reviewing the show in the future, but at the moment where the match felt revolutionary. In terms of importance the match did in fact change wrestling he argues in ways that the Hart match didn't. He literally stated the opposite of what GTH claims he said.

That didn’t matter a damn. They had the worst possible booking and decisions. S&P wasn’t forcing Bischoff to discredit Flair, end the Goldberg streak, give Hogan a share on shirts that made them lose money on each shirt sold. fuck up Hogan vs Sting, Fingerpoke of Doom, expand the NWO to half the roster, not using Bret Hart after Montreal, constant run ins, no clean finishes, showing the finger to house show fans, putting PPV dream matches on tv, “That will put butts in seats”, Sturgis wrestling event, Arquette Champ, take mask off Rey, hire Russo, give Nash the book, etc etc. Swearing and blood wouldn’t save the company in the face of this shit.

They're doing a horrible job promoting this card locally which I'm sure isnt helping
They just dumped the tickets out there and expected people to stampede to the ticket window to snatch em up and when that didnt happen it seems like they had no plan B
No local advertising at all
Little ole APW does a better job promoting their cards than these Japs do, NJPW shoulda hired them to be their street team and get them Zane Bresloff numbers popping off
