That's why I'm an advocate for multiple finishers. A jobber finisher, a midcarder finisher, a main event of Raw finisher, and "Nobody kicks out of" finisher.

It doesn't matter if Seth kicks out of your superkick, it's not supposed to finish him, it's supposed to finish Barry Stevens, because Barry Stevens is a pussy compared to Seth Rollins. So no stock is lost in your Superkick, but it still has stock, because you're still finishing lower guys with it.

And, because the "nobody kicks out finisher" is rarely seen, it actually means something when it's hit.

WWE can learn something from All Japan. As neck droppy as they were, they knew a little about building finishers on the King's Road. With how many people that use it nowadays, it's easy to forget that Kenta Kobashi only used the Burning Hammer 7 times, 3 of which he had to use on Misawa (his greatest rival). Shit like that is how you have memorable matches.

ESPN app is now reporting the UFC deal, its official, WOW! Thirty events a year!

You ever have that thing where something truly hilarious pops into your head, but you can't laugh? Just happened to me.

I was in the post office to send some court documents, and as I turned round, I saw this REALLY fat woman, fucking huge she was. The horrible part of my mind just instantly came up with "This bitch looks like PN News", and I had to bite on my cheek so hard as to not laugh right in her face.

problem is if a move is over, there is no way the wwe isnt going to let the fans see it in every match. goes back to me talking about jake roberts and the ddt. thats why none of the moves seem special anymore. we see them too much

It's a catch 22, sort of, isn't it. Flair used to do all the same spots in a match. Scott Hall hypothesized that he did because he was working strangers and jabronis a lot of the time but Ric says he did because he remembers goung to see his favorite wrestler live and the guy didn't do Ric's favorite spot.

Meanwhile, WWE has become the land of five-and-a-half moves. Guys should beat sone opponents with the Blue Thunder Bomb or Acid Reigns or 1916 sometimes. It maintains drama in every match with every guy because you don't have to tune out because the finisher wasn't hit. They shouldn't necessarily be tiered, however. Like if Samoa Joe has to bust out the Muscle Buster or KO the pop-up powerbomb to beat Seth, I'd imagine that it would seem off for them to beat Braun or another giant with the "lesser" move when the "real finisher" isn't feasible. It's why we get simplistic or shit finishers like spears and big boots sometimes (but I'd still much rather see a phenomenal forearm or springboard 450° splash or calf crusher than the Styles Clash.)

Eazy E goes off on this one.

Or not

PN News was a guy from early 90s WCW, this is what he looked like:

The fact that a woman looked like this, and that my mind went for such a deep cut with "PN News", before every other pro wrestling fat guy, was irrationally hilarious to me.
