That leg whip right before the finish looked like it hurt for real. Really nice (assuming he didn't actually hurt Jeff) set up for the leg lock finish. Has DB used that before?

Joe should win next week.

Bryan's road to the title should be longish. First, so that it means more. Second, so that they can make sure his head doesn't fall off.

Ideal booking: Miz gets the title (maybe wins MITB and cashes in) and then ducks DB. DB has to win the Rumble in order to challenge Miz for the title at WM, finally getting back the title that he never lost and bringing the Miz story full circle.

Then if DB's head stays on, the during the Superstar Shakeup, Roman comes to SD (if it's going to Fox, some bigger names will probably jump ship). He saves DB from being jumped by some heels, but then turns around and beats the holy hell out of DB. Makes the Triple H handcuff beating look tame kind of thing. He then beats the hell out of DB every week until they have a match, which is basically a squash like Cena/Brock. Then DB slides out of the main event for a while and the story can be that he doubts himself, Brie doesn't want him to get killed, etc. Then, if he's still this over, he makes a come back and challenges Roman at the following Mania, or you use that heat to get the next guy over for avenging him. Someone like Rollins stepping in to be the one to finally take the brutal Roman Dictator down.
