Hogan did

“Bret brother, you’re gonna run in at Starrcade dude. After I pin Sting, jack.”

“why would i run in after you pin him? and why are you pinning him anyways?”

“don’t worry about it dude!”
This.

WCW really had no clue what to do with Bret and let Hogan run the ship. Why would Bret, the hottest free agent at the time coming off the most controversial event in modern wrestling history, have a run in as the last second referee?

And then he does literally nothing for a month and then goes into a feud with Flair and follow that up with Brian Adams?

Having wasted the time to listen to the entire episode, Bischoff was a walking contradiction and proved himself to be a liar.

- Admits he did meet up with Bret and that they hit it off and they did in fact talk about cowboys. But then says he never gave Bret a single offer or even an inkling of an offer. So Bischoff met with Bret in person to talk about cowboys? I know this was 1996 but they had phones back then.

- When Conrad talks about Bret's detailed claims, Bischoff says Bret had either a ghost writer or was suffering from too many shots in the head. Great defense. The weird thing is Conrad just jumps to Bischoff's side agreeing with him and it's weird because Conrad will call Pritchard out on anything that he thinks may or is BS. There wasn't a single time throughout this long podcast where Conrad flatout calls Bischoff a liar or anything of that sort.

- Bischoff says he never discussed bringing in Owen Hart...and then two minutes later says that it's possible he discussed bringing Owen in with Bret.

- Said he didn't follow WWF, didn't watch Bret very much, and that Bret wasn't a draw so he purposely left Bret off tv when he initially became a contracted WCW performer. Bischoff also added he didn't do anything with Bret initially because Bret had injured his hand and Bret wasn't a draw. Bischoff then says he only signed Bret for name value, because Bret never drew in the WWF.

- Goes on to say Bret never drew in the WWF and was never over. A 3rd string QB who got put in due to others leaving (I can see that argument from a business standpoint but this is the only thing thus far). Conrad talks about the Hart vs USA angle and says it was a "weak-ass angle that didn't work".

- Blames the bad booking of Hart on Sullivan, half jokingly saying "Fucking Kevin Sullivan". Talks of the Hart/Sting match from Halloween Havoc comes up and Bischoff takes responsibility saying he wasn't looking at things long term, the wheels of WCW had fallen off especially behind the scenes and he had taken his eye off the ball and didn't even know what the finishes of the matches were anymore....

There's just too much BS to filter through.

Of course, all one has to remember is that Bischoff claimed last year that he created the idea of the NWO by himself and it wasn't based off the UFI/NJPW angle that he had seen FIRST HAND. Bischoff and WCW had been involved with NJPW for a few years and spent alot of time in Japan in 94, 95, and early 96 including being at the blowoff of the UFI/NJPW invasion angle. When Bischoff came out last year and claimed he didn't take the idea from NJPW and he came up with it on his own in his hotel room and it had nothing to do with NJPW, that's when you stop taking "facts" from Bischoff.

"You got a cigarette, Hulk?"

Frontrunning contenders for “SmackDown” rights include Fox, Facebook and Amazon. With the recent news that Fox will be sharing Ultimate Fighting Championship rights with ESPN, a few holes could open up in its scheduling that would present a great fit for WWE’s programming.

Why would someone Pay $10 a month for the WWE network, then pay an additional $14 for Amazon to watch Smackdown?? Just cancel the show

Raw and Smackdown will make more money for them than PPV's. Crazy times.

He didn't directly reply to anyone. I think it was a bunch of nerds on Twitter that keep saying they should use them more. It seems that's the cookie cutter response wrestlers in the WWE use to tell fans to shut the hell up and don't get me fired.

Keep the bosses happy. lol
