I find it amusing how every Japanese wrestling fan has the exact same gimmick for every Japanese wrestler in the WWE.

"He's just got to be a silent bad ass who kicks ass."

Right......

How fucking lame is that? They're so great that you guys can only come up with one gimmick for all of them. Say's a lot about how good they really are....

The problem with Reigns Cesaro was the predictability. When you know 100% who's going to win it's just not as much fun. At no point in time in that match did I doubt that Roman was going to win. I mean...was there a single match on Raw where everyone in the world didn't know the winner before hand? I guess maybe the main event...but I'm sure everyone figured Braun would be the guy left standing at the end so the double count out didn't really matter.

Most of my favorite matches in the last year have been the ones where I was dead sure who was going to win going in, but they worked the match and made me doubt myself. They don't have enough guys capable of pulling that off...or they won't let them lay out a match that way.

One of my favourite matches of last few years was the first Goldberg V Lesnar. Sudden, violent, intense and highly unpredictable.

WWE’s golden era in the late 80s, early 90s was littered with great wrestlers who had guys like Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart as a mouthpiece.

Then again this is modern day WWE, where everything is devoid of intensity and it is expected of everybody on the roster to recite bland scripts in front of a thousand or so bored spectators in the stands, and the millions watching at home who just watch it because they used to as kids and are too invested in the product to give up on it now.

Guys like Alistair Black can get their personality over in the ring, but they tend to lose their mystique by talking. Why not highlight the positives instead of pushing forward the weakness?

A three-way is at least better than either (1) Braun losing clean to Brock again; or (2) Kane vs. Brock 1-on-1. But it's still shitty. Brock wrestles a few times a year, no reason to not keep the matchups fresh. Balor getting bounced all over the place would be good. Or Seth. Or Miz would have been good. Like Angle plays it up like he's rewarding Miz, but instead of a rematch with Roman, he books him against Brock.

How about putting the belt on Braun with a clean win over Brock?

"Has Okada had the best career before turning 30 in the history of the business?"
Who or what in the blue hell is Okada?

me too. I had zero interest going in but the ending stunned me pretty similar to the wrestlemania streak really. And I was all in for the rest of the feud.

I am actually quite enjoying what I'm seeing with this Omega/Jericho feud. I have a lot of faith that they will not fuck it up all of a sudden.

Do you think Jericho will fuck up his own angle? Pretty clear Gedo is basically letting them do whatever the hell that they want in the build up. I am really looking forward to the match now, considering Kenny basically said he was gonna fight Jericho. I don't really ever remember Kenny saying anything like that in NJPW.

Hopefully its better than AJ/Jericho bc that was lackluster.
