Disagree with the last tweet. AJ and Dean look fine, but I think they could be booked more edgy and aggressively.

RAW has had a bit of that Attitude Era feel. I really liked the back stage brawl with Jericho/Rollins, the Enzo/Rusev hotel beat down etc were enjoyable. Really the Enzo/Rusev beat down was a bit shocking by today's G rated WWE. Just how brutal it was.

If guys like Dean and AJ were booked to more like that it'd be great. They have an OK look but just need to be shown "hey we ARE tough, don't eff with us". Stop trying to make AJ a joke heel and book him like prime heel HBK. Ruthless, vindictive, conniving snake in the grass who will beat you up too.

Completely spot on about Owens though. I think he's bland on the mic, has a terrible look, and no presence. There's no "oh shit this is about to get real" feeling when he comes out.
 
I think they should get Jimmy Jacobs working with/on future Owens stuff, get some of the old Steen character into it.

Rusev vs Lana - I dunno why this was a match, Enzo's promo was longer than the match

Cesaro/Sheamus vs New Day - New Day's Reign is over, now they are go back to caring about the tag title again. Cesaro is a tag team wrestler, deal with it. Hopefully they hold the belt until Mania.

Sami Zyan vs Braun - Ghey, the midget should have died, not been given a BS moral victory

Seth Rollins vs Chris Jericho - Ok, the crowd was dead and bearly cared.

Midget Weights - This division needs to die. All three midget weights got shit on and nobody cares. Neville got a pop for squashing them

Charlotte vs Sasha - Please don't have this match again, for the love of god END IT.

Roman vs Owens - Lame finish to a lame match. Tubby couldn't even break the table.




Shit was fake and gay.

The Braun vs. Zayn match was dumb. The finish sucked. Either have Braun kill Zayn and go on to murderize someone else next or it should have been a no dq match where Sami just waffles Braun with chairs and shit for 10 minutes (and still does the job to make Braun look like a bigger monster).

Heel Big E managed by Xavier Woods would have a tailor made feud to get him re-established as a singles wrestler with Kofi Kingston. Then I think Kofi would be great in NXT as upper mid carder where he wins some feuds, maybe holds the title as a transitional chance and give the rub to younger guys.

To be honest, I like the idea of Kofi going heel.

You could have him as the guy who was there for 10 years, and his entire career before the New Day was eradicated, because he was talked into stupid shit with unicorns, shitty $13 cereal making kids pester their parents to buy it, that everyone mocked him and his career until they started cheering for him not because he was the guy who put Randy Orton through a table at MSG, not as the guy who has been the highlight of countless Royal Rumbles, Battle Royals, Ladder Matches, TLC matchs, multiple time Tag Team, United States and Intercontinental Champion, no... it's because Kofi Kingston, an elite athlete was now relatable to fat, neckbeard, basement dwelling perma-virgins who cheer for shit ironically, instead of giving him the proper respect as a veteran for being a fucking bad ass for 10 years!

Kofi Kingston is not relatable to "those people", because being "relatable" means that you're an equal to them, and Kofi Kingston has no equals!

George Takei himself said that the original character was straight, so there's no need to force the new iteration to be anything but straight. He felt if they wanted to include a gay character then they should have created a new original character that people could identify with and follow their backstory from the start. That would be more pioneering than the cop out of making a straight character he portrayed into a gay one for no reason but to pander.

Simon Pegg, who's helping write the movie, basically said "Don't give a fuck what he says, he's gay now", but obviously said in a more diplomatic way.
