I love the The Briscoes, I think they are about as close as we will get to a modern day Steiners in terms of their work.
The only way WWE would take a chance on them is if they handed their social media over to someone in the office and even then they may be viewed as too much of a risk because of previous comments they have made.

They would have to tone their act all the way down.

I remember a few years back they were in talks with WWE, but they didn't want to leave their families.

I think they would have been good with the Wyatt Family.

Why would they have to tone it down? And Jay apologized for the gay comment and said it was in character, I think they would be just fine in that regard. Their work really is insane, Jay throws shit with such conviction it feels like he's going to kill the other guy, and Mark is fucking insane.

In quality of work, they're probably better than the Steiners by a country mile. And I think their characters are better too. Their style isn't anything like the Steiners though.


 
I normally hate the redneck and southerner gimmicks, but they do it perfectly.

The Steiners vibe I get off them related to the fact they are both good athletes, brothers and they had a lot of ultra dangerous looking offence that looks like it was killing people. That being said they are probably not all that similar in other aspects.

I don't think I could concur with Slick about them being better by a country mile though.
89-92 Steiners were absolutely brilliant, easily a top 2 or 3 tag team in the world when tag wrestling actually meant something and there were loads of great teams about.
